I did notice? For that camp he had change his training 'And went a bit too far with sport science, intruding and compartmentalizing ever
Training camps are simple 'Train hard, then tamper off 1-2 weeks before the fight' all very simple.

That is all the periodization you need.

I don’t think he acclimated to the time zone properly the video shows AJ is not ,there’s even posters from the us telling me they fight at the same time over there like there’s no different time zones over here ? Clearly his first fight in the U.S ahead something to do with that which was a clear bad drop by his team he definitely did not settle down enough the night off the fight he was to used to fighting earlier the wait played a huge part for sure .

I don't think it matters. In the rematch, AJ fought so cautious, he didn't even try to separate himself from Ruiz. He looked like a guy that just didn't want to get KTFO.

@7:40 his trainer Rob McCracken asked how do you feel after your shake , AJ responds I feel great I just wished we were fighting now ...and questioned why we the states fight so late .suggesting and stating he’s not accustomed to the time he actually has to wait which is hours . If you go back further it shows AJ revved up ,he obviously burnt himself out emotionally doing interviews and what not .

Now keep in mind this is the weigh in but the actual regimen of AJ is severely compromised and a rumor he was out scouting the scene afterwards.

Well, some people called me crazy when I said Fighters should be at least 3-4 weeks in the Other continent when they fight because of what you feel with jet lag.

I know because I have gone thru it and it sucks big time, at least for me!
