This fight at 168 or 175 is one of the best matches out there. I hope it happens, and if it does, it'll be an epic 12 round chess match.

Make it at 175 where Canelo has fought and won titles or not at all or even at say 172.

Boxing doesn't need another Ward vs Dawson moment.

Great Alternative! Bivol Only 7 Weeks to prep for it is huge advantage to Canelo though especially if he has to get down to 168. At least give the man a catchweight of 170-172 or something

This fight is ten times better than the unification crap.
The enthusiasm in the B-side of that fight is lacking.
It's a waste of precious time in a sport where fights take
a lot of time to be made. Then fans are again left waiting,
waiting, waiting for the next fight.

Expecting a career LHW to come in 7 full lbs under what he cuts to is one of the best matches out there?

Eddie Hearn is too damn slow in making plan B's.

Don't know why this guy never learns. He always puts his eggs in one damn basket.
He always ends up giving in to the other side's demands. That's because he has no plan Bs.
Khan vs Brook, Wilder vs Joshua, Fury vs Joshua, etc.

Dawson was so f***ing ****** going to 168. He offered to do it too. It wasn’t even for a mega payday or massive fight, it was arguably not even as big as the fight with B-Hop.

He wouldn’t have beaten Ward anyway, Ward was a level above but draining himself to 168 quite literally killed his career.

On only 6-7 weeks notice too…

Great fight if it’s at 175 though.
