No one expects what happens when they fight pac. Look at sugar Shane. Wanted out of the fight immediately. He never did that before. He was completely out of his league.

spence can’t afford to let that happen or he will lose.
I think you’re right about this - Spence knows that Pacquaio is (somehow) still an effective fighter. But unlike Matthysse, Broner, and Thurman, all of whom were in various stages of decline, Spence is one of the best fighters in the world, and in his prime. Spence will win by knockout or stoppage.

He should definitely not be looking past Manny or taking him lightly. But after a two year layoff at age 42, we can’t expect Manny to be in peak form, or even the same form as the Thurman fight.

Yeah sure Spence beating him at 42 holds the same weight as you beating him at 32, it just silly numbers who cares lol

seriously I get why he’s saying that but come on lol the Manny that beat Thurman was a shell of himself so expecting that “same” Manny isn’t saying much. Just call it like it is. “Manny’s 42, he hasn’t been in his prime in a long time but he’s still fighting & I have the opportunity to fight him.” See how easy it is. You don’t have to discredit him & you also do have to give him too much credit to give your possible victory more weight.

To me this fight is like Jordan when he played for the wizards vs a prime Lebron game of one on one. Pac being Jordan, Spence being Lebron. Jordan would always be that all time great, have that experience, competitive nature, & killer instinct but at his age and mileage, would it have been enough against a prime Lebron? Probably not. That’s how I see this fight.

I believe a lot of athletes cheat.....until they're caught. I believe that's why Mayweather retired a few times, allegedly. I believe boxers load up when they're inactive. Folks like Jones Jr, Holyfield, and Mosley had to come clean...somewhat.

He may very well look every bit of 42 and a guy who is coming off a two year layoff...that said, if anyone can against all odds somehow stun everyone (again) and still look great (again) considering these circumstances -- it's Manny Pacquiao. The guy is the definition of special.

True, Manny is the one 40+ year old fighter who could possibly pull a miracle out of his ass. If he does, I don’t want to hear any excuses about Spence being damaged from car crash. He proved he wasn’t when he beat Danny.

Manny could beat God in the ring and the anti-Manny crowd would find a way to discredit it. It doesn't matter what he does.

"God didn't look good in his last fight doe."

According to some of these weirdos he has never won a legitimate fight in his career.

God was coming off being crucified 2000 years ago!

                      verdict:
                      Rios - Shot
                      Cotto - Shot
                      GOD - SHOT!

Thurman is Pacquiao’s only legit win so far.
