Why are you so negative about Haney when Loma, Diaz and Ryan all avoided fights with him? It’s cool if you don’t like his style but it’s like you’re blaming him for these guys avoiding him. How is that possible?

Valdez is more accomplished than Stevenson. Doesn’t Shakur have to fight Herring in that org? We’ll see which champs get dibs for Rahkimov’s coming IBF should he win it. The WBA is Davis? The Valdez vs Stevenson isn’t even a doable fight with splits regardless if they are in house. Shakur needs a belt first

No he doesn’t. Valdez didn’t need a belt for the Berchelt fight.

Stevenson/ Valdez is the best fight TR can make and isn’t making it. Part of that is clearly because shakur isnt as TV friendly style as Valdez.

Lets just hope after these next fights they get in the ring. Something tells me Bob may engineer things to delay the fight.

I doubt he fights Loma too. Last time Haney became mandatory Loma became franchise champion. Loma's hoping for a Lopez rematch anyway. Fortuna coming off a loss would be a joke. Commey might be the best option.

I didn’t use the word ducking . You did. They avoid Haney for financial reasons. As I posted there is more money in those fights. Everyone can see it because Haney’s attributes make a fight with him tough to win, even with his lack of big fight experience.

Loma gave the belt up and sat out a year. When the mando was crolla- easy win- he made the fight. Haney would be tougher given his size, speed, length and athleticism. Can’t change the past.

I think it’s financial. There is as much money for more winnable fights. That is a real problem when the best fight doesn’t yield the biggest payday.

what also sucks is when a guy like shakur stevenson calls out Oscar Valdez but TR instead makes 2 interim fights rather than the best fight.

Stevenson got a ton of criticism for his last espn fight being boring. Valdez was in a an action fight. Shakur looks to be the favorite over Valdez so Arum makes the business decision to get 3 so so cards instead of 1 great one.

I'd buy the financial aspect if
1. Eddie didn't have a bigger budget than Oscar
2. These guys were willing to negotiate. They're turning down the fight before going to the negotiations table
