Do you also remember Canelo giving up his WBC belt to avoid fighting GGG?

And BJS telling Eubank Jr that Golovkin would beat both of them on the same night?

Cute stories. Really. Remember when GGG was afraid to ask out a girl when he was 15 or when BJS almost got arrested at 11 years old!? Nobody cares! Canelo smashed the Kazakh and BJS! Chocolate brownies doe!

Pacquiao is an all time great boxer. Everything he does or everything he defies is just a testament to his great greatness. Pacquiao is just one of those boxers, we get 2-3 of them per generation, that really can be called a true hall of famer and all time great.

So asking why a boxer can’t do what Pacquiao is doing, that’s like asking how come so and so can’t be like Michael Jordan? Why can’t this dude be like Hank Aaron? If he is so good, why can’t he play like Wayne Gretzky?

You’re asking a lot out of GGG. Pacquiao challenged himself as much as he could, as high as he could go. GGG, not really. But he is good. Just no where near as great as Pacquiao. GGG will be one of those fighters that make it into the IBHOF because, as the BWAA states, they need to induct boxers into the HOF every year to stay alive. GGG will be a filler inductee, like: here you go man, you were pretty good, I guess we will let you in. Pacquiao is, hey you were great, it’s a privilege for the IBHOF to have you in there. Pacquiao makes the IBHOF look as prestigious as it should be. Inductees like GGG expose the IBHOF as having no standards.

            He hasn't smashed any kazakh

He got a generous gift followed by a generous nod in his direction

            Great Competitive fights though

7-8???? Ummm no! 2 and even Murata got BLASTED by ggg groupies when Canelo almost fought him.

Pacquiao is an all-time great. Proven in trial by fire many times over. Guys like that are cut from a different cloth than someone like Golovkin.

                  He went 0-1-1 against Canelo.

ggg is shot. Look at his last fight against a low level guy. He was gassing out by the 4th round, looked real slow and was breathing even harder by round 6. He was lucky to be fighting a guy with no power and lack the skills. At this point, the top MWs will outclass or even KO him. Pacquiao looked good against thurman who is one of the top welterweights and pac is older and had more fights than ggg.

Listen dude you're trying to discredit ggg for whatever reason I don't know ..the guy was exciting and he fought his mandos

He was also left in the lurch with promises of unifying and waiting for ginger to step up

Ginger couldn't fit at 154 for a lomg time and was always going to step up to 160 whereas ggg never had problems making 160 so why would he move

Either way ggg was ducked for ages

You should be praising ggg to make canelos win look better because they went life and death with each other twice in extremely close and competitive fights
Although the first one was a robbery against ggg
