Ok
Was Manny overthrowing his shots and blasting his head into Floyds face the way Porter was dong to Brook? No, he wasn't. There's the big difference. It's clear why Brook had to do what he did. It was smart. Otherwise he'd be going home with a busted up face and having to train for Porter all over again due to it being a no contest because of Porter's head. And that's if they don't do the usual corruption and award the fight to Porter anyway.
Look, you were wrong. Just accept it and keep it moving. It really isn't a big deal.

Your argument is, "well it's Porter, so it's OK to excessively clinch, and that makes it a dominant performance".
You hate Porter. I get it.
But Errol Spence didn't need to clinch to beat that style.
So

Inconsistent with what? You're having an argument with an imaginary person here. It certainly isn't me.
When a fighter overthrows their shots, yes, it's smart to control them so as not to have their head be the deciding factor. Punch with them and it's game over. Your face ends up a complete mess. That's on Porter, not Brook.
Errol didn't even beat Porter. I had Porter 7/5 in rounds. But Errol dropped him making a 10/8 round, so that's Porter by a point. A lot of people agree Porter won. You only have to read the Youtube comments on the video. Porter proved too much for Errol. Brook handled him with ease.
