Because of it, I don't see him giving Floyd much issues. If you telegraph punches with Floyd, he's going to pick you apart. It's why Canelo got box the way he did.
I completely disagree mate. He’s far, far more skilled than a Haye or Wilder.

Come on man, even if you don’t particularly rate Crawford you have to admit he’s a multi-dimensional fighter. Comparing him to a one trick pony like Wilder is f***ing lunacy.

I actually see shades of Leonard in Crawford. He can box technically and exhibit the sweet science but he also has that spiteful side. He’s not obviously not as good as SRL though, I’m not trying to suggest that by any means.

Bud has a unique style yes. But so did manny and Floyd still 10-2’d or 9-3’d his azz

and manny is a level or three above Bud
I think the stylistic edge depends on whether he can make Mayweather fight off the front foot.

He has the length and timing, but does he have the hand speed? Floyd’s hands were rapid at 140 and below.

I think it would be close though. Floyd 7-5. Something like that.

There was only one boxer who won 5 rounds off Floyd and that was because his shoulder was injured (Castillo). ODL, Cotto, Manny couldn't win more than 4 rounds. But Bud gets 5 rounds? Lmfao

u see something in Bud that I dont

7-5 is pretty damn competitive. As close as it gets without a controversial decision

if Terence could win 5 rounds off Floyd, that makes him about level with the highly skilled ATG’s I think could beat Floyd without a size advantage

            Armstrong
            Duran
            Pernell

hell that version of Bud who could take 5 rounds off Floyd would be better than many of the greats Floyd beat

Off topic but I see Maidana as the toughest matches in Floyd’s career

he gave a healthy Floyd that work

JLC didn’t win any of the first 5 rounds then Floyd shoulder acted up

Maidana did better in his rematch than Jose did

Maidana won 5, De La Hoya won 5. And yeah Crawford potentially could too. It’s a tough style for Floyd.

                Styles make fights…

Not necessarily. Like Castillo and Maidana both won 5 and you wouldn’t put them in the same bracket as the three greats you mentioned.

I just think this would be a tough style for Mayweather.

Fair enough. What style do you think is hell for Terence

I think a prime Pacquiao gives him big problems, I remember Gamboa’s in and out movement really troubling him in the early rounds.

I could see Aaron Pryor giving him hell too.
