The last part of the article really shows how the WBA is r e t a r d e d with their regulär and super champs . no one should recgonize a secondary title .

Yeah pretty much, freaking belts don't define a fighter now a days. Belts don't mean anything anymore it's more of a leverage or sometimes a way to duck opponents

They are allowed to do it though, they’re going to keep getting carried away. When will they stop? There is no sign of stopping. Just adding more titles, to have their dirty little hands and as many fights as possible. Trying to get a piece of that purse money.

Media, fans, athletic commissions, promoters, boxers. They can all work together to stop that regular/super/interim/recess/silver crap. Media and fans are the only one’s speaking out against it. But athletic commissions, networks, promoters they don’t do or say anything. Just go along with it and take your cut.

Exactly man. I gave the example of a Davis-Loma fight to someone, if it happens, not even an hour ago in another thread. I don't think many would even mention belts or complain about the PPV. Fighters make the belts.

Why would they? We have been saying it.. all these secondary belts (Recess, franchise, emeritus, gold, regular, interim) etc DO NOT make up undisputed with other sanctioning bodies. The organisations have to choose one, you cannot call two people champions in each weight class, they can do it to fool the boxers (Due to Sanctioning fees) and fans (Because they love the boxers holding that secondary title) but you cannot fool everyone. Way to go Mr Paco.

Once the fans and the other sanctioning bodies like the WBO stop recognising it then it’s still a way forward. Of course the promoter aren’t going to say anything, why would they? If they can call their boxer a world champion even with a secondary tittle they would.

Just talking about one medium (BoxingScene), it was unfortunate that they followed Sulaiman (the biggest crook) and recognized the bogus franchise WBC belt over the "real" one that Haney holds, at 135. It was weak reading that.

Other orgs don't recognize a franchise BS.

Anyway, belts or no belts, I expect Casimero to destroy Rigo in a war.

The WBO are the only body who actually enforce their 1 champion per division policy.
That doesn't mean it was unified though. The IBF can't keep a fighter from paying a sanctioning fee, but it doesn't mean they recognized the title as legit. I'd have to look into it more.
