Haymon is a top player in Vegas. The Casinos trust his recommendations or pitches. Floyd is gone. Haymon introduces Canelo with the recent Texas and Miami gates. The casinos need to be alive again. Even the Kovalev gate did well. Most whom will go to Vegas for this fight were the Texas and Miami goers supporting the Undisputed fight. It’s an Ace up the sleeve that Haymon has over Eddie with the Vegas portfolio. Eddie isn’t worried though in that he expects Canelo to take the belt.

Just like the casino needed Floyd, Canelo is there as Haymon’s new option. Unfortunately Canelo does like to gamble. I’m going to watch this fight regardless through distro. It’s just funny seeing the Haymonites boast about Canelo’s fanbase going to the event and paying the PPV since we know it was the Mexican Americans paying for the Spence vs Mikey fight as well as Davis vs LSC.
