Roach Not Exactly Pleased With Pacquiao's Training Location

Normally I'd say it doesn't really matter where you train, but this is the last place Manny needs to be. I'm not saying Manny won't do well training in the Phillipines, but there are a lot more distractions, and not just people/partying/movies and all that jazz, I'm referring to just interruptions in Manny's training. We know Manny always has his entourage of 4000 people, but at least when it came to being LA, Roach was the main focus, I'm not sure how well his coaching will be soaked up by Roach training at home.Comment

I guess the trainer is doubting his boxer.
Felix Trinidad had the same popularity in Puerto Rico that Pacquaio has in the Phillipines and Felix was one of the best conditioned fighters of his era while alwas training in Puerto Rico.
Pacquaio is well known as a training freak and has always been in great condition I don't think this will change know that he knows he will be facing the biggest challenge of his career. This move is just to find a place where he feels comfortable training while avoiding the big bucs that he will have to pay the IRS if he does train in USA. I'm pretty sure that access to training camp will be limited just like it was in Wild Card Gym.
None of us for sure can say how distracted Pacquaio can be, because when it comes to training, even Roach has said in the past, that the training ethics is actually what he likes best about Pacquiao as a boxer.
One thing I did noticed, the city on which Pacman choosed to train (Baguio) is 1,500 mile above see level and 6 hours away from the capital (Manila). I do not know how distracting this City can be (probably a Phillippine friend can elaborate) but this doesn't sound that bad after all for training purposes.Comment

There were distractions at wild card a couple recent fights he had and look what happened. It's a matter strict discipline and abide security rules and for sure things will be all right. If it's not with IRS issues this wouldn't have happened, when was the last Pacman trained in PI and failed in big fights. lol. Pacman made it clear that there'll be no distractions(Roach should be checking this or he'll have to go if Pacquiao fails to do) whatsoever and doesn't want to take Cotto lightly.
War Pac!Comment

Well it shouldn't be because of that. I have no doubts Pac will be in terrific shape. I'm leaning towards Cotto simply because I think he's worlds better than Pac/Hatton and, while not as good a boxer as Marquez, is pretty decent in his own right. And is naturally stronger. I feel strange saying this but I can't see Manny outboxing Cotto. Which means I'm giving him a puncher's chance.Comment

Oh crap! Here comes the excuses in case Manny gets his ****in head knocked off. I can hear Freddie now. Ohh I wanted him to train somewhere else. Manny was distracted. Bull crap! Manny is a fraud and when a fraud is exposed his team will start to make excuse after excuseComment

i dont know man i think pac has a lot better chance than just a punchers chance he is INCREDIBLY fast and will be able to use his speed since the ring is a 20' ring if memory serves correct but cotto is worlds apart from hatton just hope this is a good fightComment
