Everyone knows Vitali is the real champ but shouldnt really say it because its disrespectful to the other champs. I've never heard anyone say any of the other guys are the genuine champ!

they would then call out the name of a real champ, unlike sturm

            kinda like hate for sturm

I am in no way defending John Ruiz because I like him:.....

but he has beat opposition 50x the caliber Vitali has.

Some of the people Jane beat, I think would K.O. Vitali easily.

Vitali has yet to prove anything. Losing to Lewis was

unimpressive, and I had him losing on the cards at the time of the

stoppage. Either that, or Lewis would have K.O.'d him in the

later rounds. (his only claim to fame).

                  Which part?

                  The opposition....because I was.

                  however;

I am in no way saying Jane is the Champ.

I recognize that Vitali is, its just that a case could be made

                  for huggy bear. thats all.

Look at the names of people Ruiz beat on paper. Its amazing.

(I suppose in this weak HW era that is).

do you remember how Rahman acted after he KOed Lennox. He was running in every direction to avoid a rematch.
I remember being so excited after Rahman starched Lewis. But I lost all respect for him after Lewis had to basically threaten to sue if he didnt honor the rematch clause.

IF (yea i said IF) Rahman wins, he'll have King to make all his excuses and avoid Vitali like the plague.

If lennox trained himself down to 245 lbs. and had a couple of tuneup fights, he would be as good as he ever was, IMO. He was actually much better to me in the last part of his career than he was in the first part. To me, the only thing that made the difference with VK was that he hadn't trained properly, and that, coupled with the fact that he fought someone that was taller than he was, and didn't go into survival mode when they got hit made the fight so rough. If either of them had actually boxed, rather than brawl, I think it would have been a very different fight.
