Comparing a one-armed Manny in the Floyd fight to a clash with Jones is apples and oranges. The mythical match ups presented here are assuming we are taking each man at his best. Jones only had about 12 fights at 154 and was not at all close to his prime. Floyd is a runner and a clincher, throws 35 punches per round and prefers fighting from the outside. Jones was superior to him in reach, speed, reflexes, power, and footwork. Floyd would get worked from the outside and would be too scared to attempt the inside. Jones had a lethal uppercut.Comment

manny is boxer-brawler who applies pressure
but lacks many pressure fighter qualities: cutting off dancers, a consistent body attack, inside fighting game, etcComment

Roy would be a skeleton at 154, go look at Oscar Manny, that's how Roy would be at 154 a dehydrated 1/2 fighter where both Manny and Floyd would beat him.
If they were all the same weight and healthy Floyd could get a UD maybe, and Mannys style would get him put to sleep because of Roys one-shot power.
Weight can totally change a fight when they are all greats it's a huge factor, the best fighting the best a straw can break the Camels back.Comment

He can fight on the inside
And his body attack is deadly
Almost every guy he's fought he hurt to the body
Thurman, morales 1, clottey, etc.
But dummy forgets to go back to it
He's excellent outside and going in and out and he's excellent at exchanges mid range
I understand why he does work on his inside game
But I dunno why he never cuts off the ringComment
