With all the things that Pacquiao is having to deal with Cotto is going to look bad if he doesn't get the KO over Manny. The only honorable loss Cotto could suffer is getting stopped because of that cut from the Clottey fight not getting all the way healed up. I really don't think that one pound is that much of a difference even though it is a historical taint on Pacquiao's resume by winning a Welterweight title below 147.

I hear you and good point but the same thing will be said about Cotto if he beats Pacman, They'kk say he was too small.

165 is his normal weight before the training making 145 iwll not be a problem, that's why he started to exercise (not full training) a little sooner.

Normally the advantage goes to the bigger fighter, in this case it does too. Why are there people crying about 2lbs? Manny is still moving up 5.
You said it right "Normally". If 2 boxers are very similar all around the advantage will benefit the bigger fighter, but the only advantage that Cotto will have is that he will be the heavier fighter in the ring.
Pacman will have advantage in speed, stamina, movements, home court advantage and even a better corner. While both fighters have the same reach and Cotto is only 1/2" taller.

As you see in this case the "Normally" doesn't apply because the "smaller" fighter has more advantages.

This will come down to how each fighter can adapt to the style, skills and strenghts of the other fighter while making their adjustmenst to impose their own stlye, skills and strenght .

LoL, Cotto putting on 10lbs? Going down to 145lbs comfortable, I think he'll easily rehydrate nearly 15lbs. This is no joke for Pacquiao and I hope he understands it. I'm sure he feels comfortable fighting big guys as he spars with them daily when he's training, but this is without the headgear on against a very strong puncher. Cotto is strong than Hatton and Oscar were, he's faster than both at this point in his career and theirs, and he's got a crazy will to win as he's shown in the past. I honestly don't know how Pacquiao will get over this hill.
