Jermell is a good fighter, last night he fought another good fighter who, at least on my card, got the better of Jermell. I don’t think that means necessarily, that Jermell looked terrible.

I agree. And I kept thinking to myself how far boxing has fallen. Like one of these guys are supposed to be undisputed? Cuz they certainly aren’t on that level. Back in the days, undisputed fights meant something. It was best against the best but this was far from it.

i know the casuals and noobs were blown away by this fight lol but it was just ok tbh.

118 division is way more exciting than this crap

              His punches looked forced

Not what you expect from a 3 belt world champ
He punched the pads off of Castano gloves all night long. Was hilarious how commentators kept trying to sell 90% of blocked punches

Agreed, this is what happens when a boxer is hand fed opponents for so long. He really did buckle to a B minus opponent who was “custom built to Charlo’s style. Should of been an EASY win.

If there were better judges he would have lost last night.

What are your thoughts on his performance?
i find that alot of fighters are probably somewhat delusional about how a fight is going while its going on....and most of the time after it also........while ive never agreed that you should have to do "more" to beat a champ i think some fighters feel that way during a fight some might feel that "im the multibelt holder here and the main attraction hes going to have to go out of his way to beat me".....

im not saying that its a good idea to "rely" on a KO...i just think that some guys feel that if they stick to their plan and do what they do it can come...or at least a punch that can change a fight and hurt them.....and tbh charlo has proven that against harrison....stick to the plan and do what you do and you can still get him.....

i expected a better performance from charlo in all honesty...i dont think it was good...but i dont think it was terrible either....im careful to look at one performance and start dogging a guy and writing him off.....when nakatani gave teo trouble were heard how he was overrated and all of that.....then he knocks commey out in two and beats the top p4p guy in the world in his next 2 fights....

Charlo picks off guys with counters who leave themselves open and give enough spots to land a big one. That's his whole game.

Before that fight, he lost a lot of rounds vs the likes of harrison, trout, julian jackson and Rosario. It's not like he look like an unbeatable force who had boxing skills going along with his physical dimensions.

Charlo brothers are due to getting knock out soon if they ever fight somebody who can truly punch but they won’t, PBC will make sure they never expose that.

Charlo are good fighters but they never been really pushed. Just like 85% of the PBC roster all young fighters who are inactive and when they fight after a 18 month or 2 year hiatus they only throw 12 punches a round
