So who won tonight? Castano or Charlo? Controversy aplenty?

Hey everyone. I missed the fight. Reading through the feedback, it seems that the feelings are very high tonight. Castano won but got screwed over? Some people calling it a robbery, and Adelaide Byrd is once again getting called out.

I'll check the replay tomorrow or later in the week, but it seems like its worthy of a discussion.

Charlo won 2 clean rounds in that fight, 2 and 10. Castano won at least 6 CLEAN rounds. It's not Charlo's not fault he got one of the biggest gifts you're gonna see in a while, but that must be embarrassing. How do you outland your opponent by that many clean shots and still not win? And people trying to make it seem like it was a 'close' fight are not boxing fans. The Showtime commentary team as well. Sour taste for real boxing fans and Castano, they robbed that man of all his hard work and a fair shake.

I honestly don’t see a way to to give Charlo more than 5. Giving him 5 rounds is giving him every benefit of doubt.

9-3 Castano. A bias nuthugger might give Jermell 5 rounds. You can't give him more than that, even being bias towards him. I am no fan of either fighter. Castano was robbed with a draw like Sweet Pea vs Chavez Sr.

Charlo took over second half of the fight. A draw was possible or a castano win. But you really can't argue against a draw

It was a very close fight could have gone either way, Charlos jab saved it for him.

Great action fight a credit to both guys they really went for it, the whole card were all battles.

Honestly I didn’t score every round and was drinking and smoking pot.

I picked Charlo by close Decision. I found Castano to be a tough guy pre fight.

Just eyeballing it I thought Castano barely won.

My friend who didn’t see the fight asked me and I said “Either Castano won a close fight or it was a draw.”

It was a draw. I was hoping Jermell would find another gear.

                Charlo clearly lost,

Boxing lost tonight crooked a*ss judge.

At least Castano returns to Argentina with his belt.

i'm really gutted for brian 'cause he let everything there, he was empty after the fight and got nothing in return and an opportunity like this might not come back again.

People don't know how to see and score fights. Just because castano was throwing a lot of punches and charlo was backed up doesn't mean castano is winning. I see charlo landing the more cleaner punches and had good defence. He blocked many of castano's punches. Jermell should have won. Castano was rushing his punches with no set ups.
