Wow! What an awesome fight? The fight turned a lot better than I thought both guys were giving their all. I commend and tip my hat to both fighters. Showtime is really doing it up this year in terms of fights. This was about the 4th fight in a row that was hotly contested and highly entertained as this one. What a fan friendly and crowd pleasing fight?Comment

Agreed. I think he needs to learn to take something off his punches to get them there quicker instead of loading up and throwing with the same speed. Castaņo was able to easily time and avoid most of the counters.Last edited by SweetPbfAli; 07-18-2021, 12:06 PM.Comment

I scored this very close fight a draw. Charlo was actually behind on my scorecard early. He rallied to tie it late. While he hurt Castano more than it appeared that Charlo was hurt, the winner goes to the fighter that wins the most rounds. I had them each winning 6 rounds. Charlo probably needs a better trainer. He said that he believes in his trainer, but he needs to find a new trainer to believe in. Charlo's game is flawed. It seems that solid boxing skills and power got him this far, but to be truly great he needs an experienced trainer to help get him to greatness.....or else he will struggle against elite competition which he still hasn't really faced. Charlo needs to work on his defense; he stands right in front of his opponent. He fights a very defensive fight (but yet, gets hit flush in the face often), and counters way to much....when he should try to force the issue. He seems hesitant to throw complete punches; he pulls back on a lot of punches until he hurts his opponent. He seemed to have no poise in huge exchanges with Castano; he seemed to be a nervous fighter. He also seems to go through the motions; he doesn't know how to win rounds; Castano stole a couple of rounds. Castano is a solid fighter, and he has a belt, but he didn't seem to be an elite fighter to me (and if I'm being honest, this was the first time I saw Castano fight). If Charlo can struggle against a Castano, it's hard to believe that he'll be able to beat the top fighters that he has called out on occasion.Last edited by Lefty0616; 07-18-2021, 12:17 PM.Comment

I had the fight close with Castano winning 7-5, but had no problem with a draw.Comment

How come his own trainer knew he needed a KO to win and these fatal judges come with is insult to casual and hardcore fans intelligence??? someone tell me how??? This make me come to the conclusion...why do we need judges at all? Let's have an outcome based on the Compubox alone. Sure will will heve its mistakes here and there but it will be easier to swallow.Comment
