JMM is a GOAT, his wins over OLd and shot Casamayor and overrated Juan Diaz, thai Turdsak and Jimrex Jaca are all ATG wins.

He lost to Barrera imo, ran away from a $750k fight with Pac to Indonesia only to be schooled by Chris John for $30k.
He was deck by Pac 4 times, lost to Pac twice if not for the scoring error in the first.

he Beat a shot and 50 yr old grandpa Casamayor.


He almost lost to Juan Diaz, who lost Paulie.

This is a pretty bad post IMO.

Lost to Barrera? No way, not in a million years. He won that fight in a competitive match. "Ran away"? He didn't run away, him and his management made a bad decision to try and angle for a better monetary figure and lost out but he gave Pacquiao a hell of a fight in the rematch and has been seeking a third fight which Pacquiao doesn't want.

He wasn't "schooled" by Chris John either.

That "50 yr old" Casamayor was only two years older than Marquez and had never been previously stopped. Almost only counts in horse-shoes and Marquez knocked out a much younger, bigger fighter in Diaz.

Diaz's fight with Paulie came after Marquez had already knocked him out.

Bull, i have to disagree, he almost got KOed by a pillow puncher Diaz who got schooled by Paulie, fossilite Casamayor was shot beyond compare.

Diaz didn't look the same after the loss against Marquez. It looks like it really effected him.
This is coming from a fan of both Paulie and Marquez.

why do you right off Paulie? He is a very good fighter. Power isn't everything in this sport.

this thread has alot of merit.

Lets be real, JMMs best on his resume is losing to Manny. and people want to call him the #1 P4P fighter over Manny? based on waht? Manny can exclude his win over JMM and he still has other great notable fights. JMM fans are in line with the holocaust deniers. They refuse to believe he lost to Chris John, and mark up 2 wins against Manny. In reality, he lost both fights, and benefited from a ref on a scoring ****up in the first fight with Manny.


If idiots are calling Manny's resume a bunch of old weight drained shot fighters, then you can easily say do the same with JMM, and argue he doesnt have legitimate wins against top fighters. Its funny how Juan Diaz was spoken of as a young spartan, hungry warrior just to padd JMMs resume. After the Maliganni match the win now looks like ****. Barrera and casamayor were past prime against JMM, and Barrera gave him fits, KD'd him, but he's given full credit for it.

thats the thing, he lost to pacquaio and John. Those arent wins no matter how you look at it.


Casamayor was past his prime, Juan Diaz is severely overrated, and he couldnt just put barrera away, who even managed to KD him.

foreal though, why is JMM always given the benefit of the doubt. Those arent wins on his record, those are legitimate losses.
