SSM fights nothin like Cotto. Every fighter scouts his opponents' past fights, but SSM ain't use none of Cotto's tactics wit Marg. Even if he didn't see what Cotto did wrong, SSM never been a hit n run type of guy. And Anybody oughta fight the same way wit Clottey; explode in flurries and reset before he can counter. Clottey is a pressure fighter, but he don't lead a lot. Can't see SSM bitin off Cotto's moves.

Cotto actuallly laid out the blue print on how to beat Clottey by a wide ass UD. Watch those late rounds of Cotto-Clottey and you will see Clottey is not as his best when chasing people around the ring. But Mosley is not as good of a boxer as Cotto so he won't move around like that giving Clottey a chance to set his feet.

People thought the same thing about Margarito, Shane didn't move much, but when he did he moved to set punches up, and not to run. Also this is a fight that made the most financial sense for Mosley. More money than fighting Berto.

No offense but I strongly disagree, what SSM should have gotten from watching Cotto vs Margarito was, don't stand toe to toe with Margarito and he wen't and did just that. Now he is fighting Clottey, Cotto didn't beat Clottey in my opinion, so can't understand where your getting at here.

Disagree, Berto turned down 750K. Who is Berto to be asking for more? Berto turned down Mosely, not the other way around. You might be right about Cotto, SSM got a little big headed after defeating Margarito and even said fighting Cotto would be taking a step back. Clottey > Berto, Clottey is a tougher opponent and would make for a more entertaining fight.

Mosley didn't duck Cotto. People listen to what they want to hear. Mosley wanted the fight in LA or Vegas. Bob Arum and I repeat Bob Arum said there wasn't enough Money to make the fight because Mosley would want 50%. Arum plan was to make Mosley vs Clottey and Cotto vs Margo rematch in June. The winner would meet in Novemeber. With Margo being out and Floyd coming back things changed a little.

Mosley started the year with a ****. Now he going to end it in a ****. His ATG status can only rise if he beats Clottey. Since a lot of people felt he was cheated against Baldo and Cotto. With his only lose being to Margo.

Shane needs to send Clottey to the ropes and take off on him. I seen Judah and Cotto has success doing so. Shane should spar with Winky, Bradley, and Lara just to name a few.

imo the only reason he fought margarito is arum was running off at the mouth after the cotto fight talking bout" now you see why shane and floyd didn't want none of tony". so shane said make it happen.

as for clottey, the only thing shane should take from that fight is watch the headbutt.

Has Cotto said that he is willing to fight Mosley in Vegas or on the West Coast? That's what I thought. Cotto is willing to fight a smaller opponent in Vegas, but not a guy his own size. The last time he did that: Well, we know what happened there.
