The limited punch output may make it harder for an opponent to get his timing and limits the amount of openings in his defense bit it also makes it difficult for him to win rounds.

this, he fights to survive in his big fights at welter and puts out a stinker. he was good at 140 where he still had power and size there, now at welter and above, he is small, hes slow, his power isnt the same and these other guys have reach on him. so he barely throws so that he dont leave himself open. mikey garcia pulled the same chit with spence. if you fight to survive and youre B level fighter it can be hard to get stopped if you dont open up and the other guy is happy to box you just collecting rounds. makes for a boring fight

Charlo is right about one thing... 154 fights. I am so impressed with how he has rebounded after his loss. Just a great resume he is building.

Danny wants to counterpunch and time his opponent, but if he could just bull-doze his way in he would be more successful, he has a good chin. He should risk it all at this point.

            Just swing mother****er.
Danny threw 700 punches in his fight with Spence, 700. He has never thrown close to that many in a fight before, yet people say he needed to let his hands go like what rlse was he supposed to do grow two more arms? Lmao

How about people just say Danny got beat the **** up by a guy coming off a car accident amd 14 month layoff.

SMH. Lara was holding a belt for two years and you didn't fight him. Took a newcomer, Hurd, to take it from him.

We just gonna conveniently leave out Matthysse and Morales huh?

The best fight the best in this division, if this division is a guy moving up from another division. LOL

I liked Garcia at 140. Since then, not so much. Honestly, I don't really care to see him fight again. When was his last win against an elite opponent?

I think Matthysse was technically just the interim champion. Morales should have been champion as he had won the vacant belt but because of WBC nonsense the belt was made vacant again before he fought Garcia for it.

Splitting hairs though. Matthysse was considered to be at the top of the division and it was a very good win. Morales was more just surprising that he turned back the clock and gave Garcia problems.
