Both nailed it. I like DSG, he could be a major force but always holds back. If he had attacked spence the whole fight as he did in the 12th round, the fight could have been different. Danny wants to counterpunch and time his opponent, but if he could just bull-doze his way in he would be more successful, he has a good chin. He should risk it all at this point.

    Just swing mother****er.

Won't argue if Castano is better, really close, but styles make fights and I think Danny's counter punching could offset some of Jermell onslaught. I personally think Danny is too small for the weight and will get bullied around the ring.

Really like Mell. He’s grown into himself recently and really matured. He still get wild if people push it out of him, but guy is clearly a solid bloke. Have all the respect in the world for a fighter like him. He’s a real back in the day old school mentality. Will be cheering him on this weekend!! #H-Town. #LionsOnly

Danny's punch output, like many fighters, drops significantly when he faces stiffer competition. He relies on his handspeed and counters to catch his opponent and clip him or discourage him. As he's gone up in weight and against quality opposition, his power doesn't seem to be enough to overcome the inactivity.

The limited punch output may make it harder for an opponent to get his timing and limits the amount of openings in his defense bit it also makes it difficult for him to win rounds.

Garcia at 140 was coo. Nothing special, all his titles were vacant titles except for the Khan fight. At 147 if he's not beating blown up lightweights he's losing to all the top fighters. Danny would b like a hair better than rosado but it's still a legit comparison.

Charlo would easily whip overrated Danny in a boring fight …once again bc Garcia will play it safe, not let his hands go, hold on the inside, whine about the decision and collect another big check.

this, he will fight to survive, not to win, like he did in all his big welter fights. he will be there to collect a check and trying not to get knocked out. he will be swept on the score cards and then complain he thought he won, lmao
