Errol dropped Porter, Thurman didn't. And there's a big difference in not having a KO in 3 years, as opposed to 8.

In another year, it'll be damn near a decade since Run Time had a stoppage. But he hits harder.

I don’t usually agree with too much of what Roach says but this I can agree with. I think Thurman is more technically sound than Spence. Definitely has faster hand speed, throws better combinations and has slightly better footwork. Spence has a better chin and he’s got great fundamentals. Honestly he reminds me of a younger less destructive GGG - great jab, flat feet but decent foot work, power, and good at cutting off the ring. But as Floyd said about GGG, Spence is pretty much a straight up and down, no special effects guy. He’s good at everything he does though & has a high output

As far as whos stronger, I’d say Spence looks physically stronger than Keith. As far as who hits harder it’s hard to say. Other than Kell Brook (who just came off a GGG broken face KO) Spence hasn’t knocked out any elite fighter & neither has Keith. Two common opponents they’ve both beaten, Danny & Porter both said Thurman hits harder. Keith had Danny wobbled in the 1st round, and had Porter badly buzzed at one point in their fight, Spence made Shawns gloves touch the canvas but I wouldn’t say he was hurt - it was more of a flash kd since he still had his legs under him and went back to work. I don’t recall him hurting Danny with anything but he did swell his eye pretty good.

None of this means much for Manny though. He’s two years older than when he fought Keith, 2 years inactive & he’s yet again fighting a bigger, stronger, longer, fresher man. There’s so much he’s gonna have to overcome

keith run time had that nickname for a long time. keith don't have a jab and has poor defense.

spence has a great jab, and a very technically sound defense. he's going to **** manny up.

I wouldn’t say Spence makes loads of mistakes. His style just exposes vulnerabilities but no one has been able to take advantage of them because he’s quality.

Thurman however makes a ton of mistakes, he’s no RJJ and he gets caught. I still really like Thurman, but he would get stopped to the body by Spence.

Pacquaio has the power to knock anybody out at 147. The problem that he will have to deal with that Spence has a high guard defense with a stiff jab coming forward. Pacquiao needs to get him out of there early or his body is getting a beating all fight long.

Marquez was a pure counterpuncher. He’s short armed like Pac. The first fight he actually fought more after that all he looked for was “one punch”. Great fights.
Both of these men have “styles” the just worked very well until they met each other.
