If Freddie Roach believes that, I have some beach front property in Antartica I would love to share.
Lol If you go back maybe two years (I know the accident) Roach is on record saying he doesn’t want Manny anywhere near Spence, prefer Crawford and even then was a no about taking either fight. What people say to sell a fight.

Thurman not on pfp lists? He was before his shoulder injury and lay off, it's just people assuming thurman deteriorated more than he actually has.

Its all guess work any way 3 amigo not fought each other, I'm talking bud, spence, thurman so they've not separated themselves from each other but thurman at least best resume

"The provocative Roach realizes that the vast majority of fans and pundits consider Spence to be a better fighter than Thurman."

Freddie trying to get in Errol's head! Nothing to see here! We know Freddie studied that Josesito Lopez tape, and that's why they picked Thurman in the first place! Lol!

Roach was talking this about Thurman, seems he forgot where he rated Thurman.

It wasn’t just that Josesito Lopez almost upset Thurman when he hurt the heavily favored fighter in the seventh round. Pacquiao’s trainer considered it a poor performance overall for the unbeaten WBA “super” world welterweight champion and questioned whether Thurman ever can regain the form that enabled him to defeat Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter before injuries interrupted his career.

“I thought I was watching a four-round fighter,” Roach told BoxingScene.com following a Pacquiao training session this week at Roach’s Wild Card Boxing Club. “I mean, he was terrible. He didn’t do well at all. But if you look at each of his last three fights, he’s faded in each one. I’m not sure if it’s the biceps injury or whatever they’re crying about, but he hasn’t looked good in the three fights that I’ve seen and I do have his last seven fights on tape.”

Thurman came back from those troublesome moments in the seventh round to beat Lopez by unanimous decision in their 12-rounder January 26 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The 30-year-old Thurman (29-0, 22 KOs, 1 NC) obviously had to shed some rust in that bout because he hadn’t fought in more than 22 months due to elbow surgery and a subsequent hand injury.

Still, based on what Roach saw from Thurman versus Lopez (36-8, 19 KOs), he was surprised Thurman even agreed to fight Pacquiao next.

“I don’t think he’s the fighter he once was,” Roach said. “

Dam what anyone thinks, that’s why we have a fight. I say his ass to small and old and doesn’t stand a chance against a guy who’s use to sparring Jr Middleweights and Middleweights! The speed and hurkie jurky style may be the only problem until timing come into play, other than that Spence have a Hall of Fame win which should be good if want to be considered the Truth!

I think Thurman is more “athletic” than Spence. I also think Thurman fights at a quicker pace than Spence and that can help a fighter like Pac.
Only style that gave Manny a hard time ARENT boxers. Their “grinders”. Strong, physical, smothering PRESSURE fighters in your grill from beginning to end.
Spence is a far lighter version of them.
STILL, His strength and intelligence can whip anyone on the right day.
I always thought Porter would EASILY whip Pacquiao. Styles make fights.

Freddy is obviously on that strong skunk weed these days or outright smoking kush to make this sort of statement.
