Might help boost his profile and give the sport a new star.
I maintain that if Spence can beat Crawford and is still undefeated , a fight between him and Canelo at 160 would be the biggest fight in the sport since Floyd/ Manny. -
I could see it being huge as well. Cowboys stadium would make sense for that fight too. Could likely draw 100,000 people.Comment

Would make sense but I’m thinking they might do the football stadium in Las Vegas unless Jerry puts up some serious coin.
That fight would attract the major players.Comment

Not sure he gets villain status, but there will be some fans who will rightly put the win in it's proper perspective. Like Marciano beating Louis or Holmes beating Ali.Comment

He already gets a ton of hate and I don't see how or why.....dude is very soft spoken and respectful when respected.Comment

Alvarez too buff for 160I could see it being huge as well. Cowboys stadium would make sense for that fight too. Could likely draw 100,000 people.

Yeah I like Errol a lot. I'm rooting for Manny of course, because I'm a longtime Manny fan -- but if Errol comes out with his hand raised then I will give him full credit, and I will also give him 100% of my respect. And I'd root for him going forward. Look, boxing is a brutal sport. It's an unforgiving sport. Barring a draw, one man has to win, and one man has to lose. There is no room for sympathy in a sport like this. Old fighter or not, beloved fighter or not. I mean look how many beloved legends were beaten badly into retirement. Hell it's almost something that is a prerequisite when it comes to being an all-time great. Much more often than not, fighters do not exit on their own terms.Comment
