It’s honestly fitting. Manny (who I like and am rooting for) made much of his name beating up on past it fighters, mostly Mexican. Oscar, MAB, Morales, tried to with Marquez, beat up an ancient Mosley, Rios was shot, Lucas was shot, Margarito was far from prime. Roach didn’t even try to hide that guys got picked because they slowed down or came off a loss. But boxing fans didn’t really care. Manny beat the brakes off of so many guys that just watching him fight like the Tasmanian devil was electrifying to fans.
