I hadn't considered the WBC making Wilder vs Whyte for the interim title... That could suddenly make things more worth everyone's while and even put the WBC in a good light.

Fury not having had both jabs is pretty scandalous tbh.

Due to the timings, no way Wilder accepts Whyte as a replacement with 2 weeks notice, but it would be a bold move by both parties if they did, you'd have to rate it.

I also agree the fight would be a good advert for HW boxing whatever the outcome!

Not at all. Fury pretty much ducked that fight. But what is the excuse for the Usyk fight still being up in the air???

Team Usyk are clearly onboard, or they would have alot of power to kick off now...

Whyte is too slow, with no defense and doesn't move his head. It would be batting practice all over again for Deontay Wilder.

If Wilder isn't mentally damaged by the Fury loss, I don't see how Whyte beats him either... I see a mid rounds brutal stoppage for Wilder and a big name on his record.

I think they is ALOT to like about this scenario for Team Wilder - if they truly think he's 100%.

I think that the WBC should wait until October. By that time, if Fury still isn't mentally fit to fight.

Then they should strip him and make Wilder their champion and make Whyte his mandatory challenger.

Fury would have gone more than 20 months without defending his title since winning it from Deontay Wilder and that's an awful long time.

At this point and again I may be wrong but I doubt that Fury will ever defend his WBC title again; Not even in the month of October. The man is having another one of his nervous breakdowns.

I wouldn't be surprised if he just retired because obvious this is a fight that he doesn't want.
The trilogy would have already happened by now if Wilder hadn't claimed an injury and asked for the original July 2020 date to be rescheduled.

You're desperate to see Fury stripped and Wilder 'installed' as champion because you know that Wilder can't beat Fury in a boxing ring.

                    Sad!

Wilder is healthy and is in a good mentally state of mind right now. He his both physically and mentally relaxed.

It's Tyson Fury's state of mind that I am concerned about. Obviously, Deontay Wilder has him shooked out of his mind that he had to call this fight off two weeks out from it. It shows a very delicate and fragile state of mind. Moreover, I don't believe that Fury would be ready by October either.

The man is having another nervous breakdown right before our very eyes. He will never fight Deontay Wilder again because he is afraid of getting hurt. I don't believe for one second that the man has Covid. If anything he is suffering from a panic and anxiety attack for fear of facing Wilder for the third time.
