David said that he wants Charlo to make a Canelo fight even bigger.
If it has zero chance of happening its because Charlo dont want it.
David has called him out hes willing to drop down to his weight class so what excuses will Charlo use to get out of fighting David.
When did he say he was willing to drop down to 160? That would seem unlikely, considering he just lost his belt on the scales at 168. I would pick Benevidez over Charlo, but if Benevidez has to drain down to 160, that would slant things in Charlo’s favor.

If you read the article it states that hes willing to drain down to 160 cause he feels he can still knock Charlo out.

Also was an article yesterday saying he wants Charlo and if it means going to 160 hes all for it.
So basically he wants the Charlo fight so he can jump in front of Charlo for the Canelo pay day if indeed ge wins.

This is what he should be doing and saying in my opinion and if he did beat Charlo it definitely makes for a bigger Canelo fight, which works both ways.

If Charlo were to win it would make his Nelo fight that much bigger.

It makes alot of sense to see these 2 I the ring and both with PBC so let's do it.

Yeah, the guy hardly makes 168. At 160 he is a f.ucking skeleton.

I would pick benavidez over Charlo aswell but can't see how this fight ever happens, benavidez has trouble making weight at 168 so how the f is he gonna make 160? It bothers me he even mentions it tbh cos he knows he couldn't make weight so why say it? If he expects it to happen at 168 I also can't see that happening cos Charlo would go straight into the canelo fight as he wouldn't risk a fight against a live and dangerous opponent otherwise he would ruin his chances for nelo so it just seems like clout chasing to me and benavidez doesn't need to do that at this stage in his career

David Benavidez: “I Know I Can Stop Charlo, I’ll Probably Try To Go Down To 160″

As the persistent trash talk between them continues, there appears to be one major roadblock in the way of making their showdown a reality, weight. With Charlo (32-0, 22 KOs) stating on numerous occasions that he plans on staying at 160 for quite some time, Benavidez is realizing that in order to get Charlo in the ring, he’ll need to shed a few pounds.

“I’ll probably try to go down to 160 if he really wants 160. It would be a great fight. I’m not saying it would be easy but I know I can stop Charlo.”

Dropping down in weight would seemingly be difficult for Benavidez. Not only has he never competed at anything lower than 163 pounds, but earlier in his career, the Arizona native fought as high as 180. Still, if a fight with Charlo can be made, the former two-time 168-pound belt holder is willing to acquiesce to his weight demands.

I think Benavidez is crazy to think he could be successful @ 160! I think a catch-weight fight @ 164 would still sell, even though no titles would be on the line! I would definitely watch it! Make It Happen! Jermall Charlo...MAN UP!

Bro hes not going to say he can make 160 call out Charlo if he doesn't think he could do it.

He seen the fight against Montiel and obviously believes even in a depleted weight he can still knock him out.

Good on David for trying to make moves.

If Carlo is about it he will offer at a catch weight of 164 which would be a huge fight.
At 160 I have doubts that Benividez can fight healthy but at 164 catch weight this would become a barn burner that could end up being FOTY.

David is doing what he and many other fighters should be doing by answering his diss plus going down to his division just to make the fight.

If you think that's begging then you are what's wrong with boxing.
                  Sorry to say.
He’s referring to it as “begging” because Benavidez called out his favorite fighter and he knows what Benavidez will do to Charlo.

                    Exactly.
Their is nothing wrong but everything right with how David is going about his boxing at the moment.

Just hope he still has his mind on Uzi.
Afterwards he can talk all he wants.

Yeah, hopefully he’s focused for Uzacategui because he won’t be easy. Really digging your avatar by the way. Tszyu has recently become one of my top favorite fighters.
