Al is scared , yet again. He saw in plants eyes that he doesn’t believe he can beat canelo. Can’t lose a peice of the division. Must hold out until canelo leaves. Same with crawford, must wait until Crawford is old or gone. Can’t lose the belts. Stall the negotiations. Outprice them. Don’t show the fear.

Since when was Hearn promoting Canelo? Thought he was just Saunders and Smiths promoter.

Since Canelo sued GBP / dazn around Sep 2020, GBP let him walk without any buyout Nov 2020, which gives a fair indication of the merits of his case, after that he has fought another 2 or 3 times on dazn, the last two at least where with Hearn. So now he is promoted by Hearn but a network free agent, like Haney & Joshua (with respect to dazn anyway, Joshua still has one Sky fight contracted in the UK from memory).

Hopefully network free agents are the new normal.

Canelo has busted his ass and gotten to the point where he can now call his own shots and be a free agent.

But now Al Haymon won't let him fight Plant unless he en****** himself to a long term contract.

It should be on whatever platform is offering the most money. And Canelo shouldn't have to sign a long term slave contract regardless of what platform it's on.

Hearn has said it can go where ever the most money is, Haymon hasn't.

Canelo isn't contracted to dazn, somehow I don't see Hearn telling Canelo where he can and can't fight.

If its much bigger on Fox, PBC should have no problem offering more than dazn.

The only issue is if PBC won't offer as much as dazn and don't let Plant where the most money is.

No I'll do it first. Hearn is panicking because he realizes that his DAZN America dream is over if he lets Canelo get back to PPV. Once he see the difference between PPV money and the APP money he will never go back.

Plant better take that fight. He’s not that good and he will get paid. What’s going to happen is he’s going to take on some top 10 contender and get his but kicked for one-third the money he would have gotten for the Irishman, I mean Canalo. Like someone else mentioned, if he really thinks he could beat the Irishman, go for it. Beat him and get another big check for the rematch.
