Muhammad Ali was very very brave, stood up to the government lost his license for 4 years because of his anti-war stance, while Wilder was cooning next to Trump. Ali was wise, very funny, and very honest and humble in defeat. Deontay Wilder is very unwise, very angry and pathetic, and blames everything and everyone for his loss except for himself and his leaky defense. Complete opposite of Ali.

No, the word marginalizing is used in its proper context here. Here's the definition of marginalizing: (tr) to relegate to the fringes, out of the mainstream; make seem unimportant.

FWIW I got no problem with Deontay or anyone else using their place in the public eye as a platform to express their viewpoints... Far as I'm concerned ones political or ethical values are as much a part of your identity as your face, so if that's the path he wants to take good for him. If I have reservations it's more that presenting oneself as a spokesperson for a political or moral cause carries a responsibility with it since your words may be taken as being representative of more than just your own individual views.

What I'm saying is that if Deontay the fighter wishes to comment on 'catching bodies' for instance then that's just on him, but once he presents himself as a spokesperson for the wider cause of racial justice you can be sure his words will be raked over and used as a weapon by those who stand in opposition to that cause. Rightly or wrongly Deontay will have to choose his words and actions with a great deal of care if he embarks on this path or he risks doing more harm than good.
