He already beat ggg twice, why fight him again?

Golovkin is the only one who has given Canelo a life-and-death challenge since the Mayweather loss. Canelo ain't fighting him again until he's in a wheelchair.

But to the victor got he spoils and Canelo got the W in their second fight. It is what it is.

**** them, who cares what they think

I do not think that Canelo is the #1 P4P... but he definitely beat the Mexican out of Golovkin in that second fight

one guy, got his game going in that fight... and the guy who lost, did not

          Lol.

i just realized that the LDBC world for years were crying that Canelo and GGG were both ducking “black fighters” like Charlo or Andrade. Andrade has already been shamed and expelled to the dark underworld for his confrontation with Canelo, so now its just Charlo. What will Canelo haters from both the GGg or LDBC world think now that Canelo wants smoke with Jermall?

I don’t think you’ve seen enough boxing to understand “life and death.” Ideally that’s reserved to severe punishment that’s included knockdowns or excessive clinching. Their fights had none of that. GGG couldn’t cut off the ring with Canelo. If you want an idea what “life and death” and cutting off the ring then watch GGG vs Brook. Or the second half of round 8 of from Canelo vs BJS…

challenging chessmatching vs “life and death”

Canelo goes down as an ATG when he took a massive shot from GGG and still did a 9 punch evasive roll defensive combo while supposedly in “life and death” mode. You can’t teach that. That’s a heart of warrior.

Team Golovkin already publicly rejected the third fight last year: "No, they called me about it, and I said no," Golovkin's head trainer Johnathon Banks told IFL TV. "The plan was for him to get this fight [versus Poland's Kamil Szeremeta] and get another fight, and then fight Canelo."

It's amazing some in the media are still hyping GGG as if where waiting for a challenge when he hasn't shown much ambition as the A side, preferring to stay in his comfort zone vs lower tier fighters, and even as the B side would rather prioritize gatekeepers over the opportunity to avenge his loss.

GGG lost the second fight. Run it back and watch it again. It was close but Canelo edged him. The first fight was all GGG and he was robbed. Regardless, GGG is old now. It's a pointless fight IMO but ya never know (look at Pac/Marquez 4)

Or could it be that all u nelo nut huggers are actually the casuals, it would make way more sense, don't u think? Seen as though most analyst's and boxing journalists saw it the way I did, second fight was close I'll give u that, at a stretch u could have called it a draw but a nelo win makes u a s**t scorer of fights fwend

Dunno what most 'observers' saw in first fight that makes them think ggg won i mean he definitely was putting pressure on alvarez yes but thats cause canelo was boxing his ass on backfoot golovkin just landed more jabs whilst Canelo landed most of powershots in both fight he beat him with 2 different fight style besides the defensive highlight were all Canelo, second fight was pretty clear ggg got overwhelmed with real Mexican style, at the end it really was close so its kjnd
