I think it could just be Crawford's overall appeal as a fighter. So maybe not a huge reach in terms of quality of opponents, it's just he has zero appeal. I still think Spence has the better resume currently.

Roy Jones jr KNOWS Spence is a coward. Spence would never have survived in the era or Roy Jones and winky right and Trinidad. He doesn’t haven’t what it takes. He wants to fight small Mexicans and 99 year old men. Running from Crawford like 90 goin north!!!!!!!

I mean.....there are PLENTY of fights to be made without Errol and he can't get ONE??? It's pretty obvious what's going on with Bud right now, so if Roy wants to point a finger, he should be pointing it towards Top Rank
Agreed. Spence's resume is way more impressive. Roy's brain is sounding pretty scrambled lately. He's not slurring yet but he certainly sounds messed up. Read his article about his protege Eubank jr. It's comical.

I don't understand why when someone gets asked a question, and answers truthful ( to a point) gets trashed as being a hater. Roy was asked about Spence and he have his honest opinion, it's not hate. Now, two things, I do believe Spence should of pushed way more on trying to make the Crawford fight, but you can only do so much when the other side thinks they are the A side and want more than they deserve, but they both are to blame for it, but I think Crawford has more of a hand in this since he really has never pushed hard to fight anyone of note, look at his resume. Which brings me to point two, Jones claims Crawford has accomplished more, if fighting a bunch of paper champs and picking up paper titles is called "more accomplished" than yes, Crawford is more accomplished, but if you look at competition and level of competition, no doubt Spence is way more accomplished, I mean who's Crawford best opponent on his resume? Gamboa, I mean I really don't know who to compare vs Spence resume. I'm just looking at body of work and by no means am I claiming one beats the other, that comes from facing each other in the ring, I'm talking about who's faced better competition and has beat that competition, and to me no doubt is Spence, Crawford might have all that talent in the world, but till Crawford puts those talent's to the test against stiff competition, we will never know, and that starts with Crawford fighting guys like Porter, Ugas, Ortiz, Ennis, if he can't get Spence, instead of fighting guys like Brook and Khan and the and the unknowns Bobby has been lining up.

Ward made a good point about Crawford and the fight not happening. He basically said that he wants the fight but isn't likely to make the concessions to make the fight. He said Crawford would likely retire before doing that because as much as he loves boxing, it's not everything he is and everything to him. Also, he stated that the fans likely care more about the fight happening than he does.
