Joyce is very gifted by nature but is getting old despite being an olympian and an outstanding amateur. AJ had a fast progression. Now it's a very difficult time for a good hw, with so much to be decided among few names (wilder, usyk, fury, aj) and a couple potential extras (ruiz and whyte). I don't see anyone else having a shot before 2023. I hope to be proved wrong.

I like JJ but describing him as 'very gifted by nature' is absurd. He is marginally quicker than a sloth & has the reflexes of a Hereford cow. He is enormously strong & has a great engine. His jab is horrible but he somehow makes it work for him. JJ is a nice guy who loves fine art, which makes me doubt he can be competitive with beasts from the street like Dillian, Deontay & Tyson but I might be wrong. I can't honestly see JJ going anywhere but, again, I might be wrong. JJ certainly is incredibly strong & moves forward like an overfilled wardrobe. I'm sorry, I can't see JJ being competitive in the top ranks of H/W boxing &, if he is there is something wrong with H/w boxing.Comment

I saw several videos of joyce doing capoeira and other kinds of movements which I think are incredible for such a huge guy. He seems slow but he is also super precise and sharp. I'd like to see a fight vs aj.Comment

Lol.... dream on. He'll be back fighting guys with out a pulse. If he can't beat Joyce then he's clearly c grade at best.
You can tell just by looking at him, he doesn't have speed or skill to compete at top level. Joyce proved that.Comment

A young Jack Johnson was KO by Choynski, a young Joe Louis was KO by Schmeling, a young Vladimir Klitschko was KO by Cory Sanders.
Don't write a man off because he lost a fight.Comment

Wait why? He is way younger than Joe Joyce who is a top 10 ranked on almost everyone's HW. To me, 2 judges, and most he was winning even with an injury.Comment
