LOL, that same round. Loma started strong, won the round but the last minute he was starting to slow down and Lopez carried it. The 12th was the continuation of that last minute. Loma did not dominate that whole 11 round, he got hit a couple of times and had to slow down.

but what if teo is equally as motivated and says "im not letting this guy take that next big payday off my familys plate"??.....i mean yeah a nice 10-15 million in career earnings is nice.....but wouldnt 50-100 be better? some guys think like that and not like andy ruiz......teo might be one of those guys
I agree. Teo will be just as determined as Loma. He also still has many big advantages, such as reach, explosive power and more of an understanding in who he is dealing with in Loma now, after the first fight. I think Loma is the more skilled fighter but Teo is big, explosive, long and powerful….and he will be determined. The first time they fought I picked Loma but I knew it would be a very difficult fight. In this second fight I pick Loma to win but he’s got some pretty hefty obstacles to overcome in order to win this fight. My reasoning for picking Loma is simply because of his skills and odd, difficult to time fighting style and his skill set…and feet.

If your justification is "he got hit a couple times", you might need to re-evaluate how you watch fights. Teo got hit a lot more than a couple times in that round.

Dude, where did I say he got hit a couple of times? Loma won 2/3 of the round and then was backed off for the last minutes, that continued in the 12th. Just when it looked like Loma was going to take over he got pushed back by Lopez's offense. You might want to take a better look at the fight without rooting for one person in particular. I thought Loma was going to win this fight and it was very competitive and Lopez beat him.

I really think the first fight was a fluke and a serious miscalculation by Loama, taking off the first 6 rounds. He was snapping Teo's head back from round 7 on. I think it's an easy win for Loma in a rematch.

You said round 11 didn't go to well. If thats a round that didn't go to well in your eye... then what is a round that did go well?

                  Lomachenko will win.

                  Teo got a fluke.

Teo is a great fighter... But Loma will do circles around him and will be what Loma can be... Teo doesn't have the tools to "Box" him... Little chance of clipping him with a good one but that's about it .. Loma UD ... Like a 8-4 win ...

The general rule for rematches is to favour the guy who won the second half of the fight, because that's when the adjustments came into play, which loma did but just far too late.

the threat of teos early power is still there of course but Loma has now 12 rounds of habits and patterns and should be more comfortable to let his hands go now.
Except when it's Ali . . . Ali-Frazier; Ali-Norton; Ali-Spinks. Lost the second half of all three and won the rematches.

Loma freezes up again. Doesn't like being hit and Lopez isn't 'wowed' by Loma's supposedly superior skills like he suspose to be - Lopez will probably even score a KD this time and an easier decision.
