True but Tank should campaign at 135. Lopez needs to stop his pile of sht excuses and fight him, Haney and Cryan Garcia

He's fought some decent fighters . Yes not the super elite ...yet. But I've seen this movie before with " punchers " . They have the equalizer. With Tank, he's also a southpaw. And he's not just landing a lucky punch. He setting his power punches up with jabs and hooks, uppercuts, the whole arsenal. In a way, we the fans have overrated him. But I think he's being brought along perfectly. It's now, and only now, that's he's ready for anybody. He's a beast, and as he says, he's crackin. At 135 , right now, I believe the best 3 are Loma, Lopez , and Tank. Josh Taylor at 140 ? I think Tank knocks him out. Too fast and hits too hard for Taylor. Tank has got a concrete chin too. Crippling punching power and a concrete chin, stamina and a southpaw. Nevermind the fact he's got the animal/ destroyer mentality also. If he's motivated and serious, he's danger for all the top dogs.
That is a great evaluation. There seems to be a large "Anti-Tank" mentality that I do not think he deserves. He has not proven himself elite yet, but there is zero indication that he will not be. I do not think he is not perfect. There seems to be large portions of any fight he is hittable. But he fights increasingly smart and he is fearless. I will watch whatever he does next.

I don’t think Tank will stick around at 140. My take is that this was crafty piece of match making, creating the illusion of Tank being a multiple weight champion to casuals who don’t understand the difference between a real champion and a secondary title, while also giving Tank the experience of a taller fighter with power before they go after Garcia or Haney at 135. At least that last part is what I hope for, the secondary title thing is just his team’s business model since he moved up from super featherweight, the only division in which he can legitimately claim to be a champion. Hopefully the fighter himself will start thinking about his legacy, because the people around him will milk this as long as they can, and we, the fans, will be left with more questions than answers in the end.

Tank is the highest paid boxer in 130-135-140. I don't think Tank should fight any of the top guys unless they are willing to take 80/20 and fight on Showtime

I feel the same way. He " brings it " . Love him or hate him , he's an exciting fighter to watch. Not too many of those anymore. Yes he's hittable but who isn't . He was getting hit by a legit 140lber and he really wasn't fazed. Just kept coming forward. I find " perfect " fighters are too cautious. Tank looks like a young Duran but black and a southpaw. When Duran was at 135 , he was very aggressive , took shots , and walked thru everyone. I think the best fight out there right now is Tank vs Lopez at 135. Even at 140 . People would give Lopez the edge at 140 but I think it evens itself out because Tank is a southpaw. Who hits harder ? Tank or Lopez ? I'd love to find out.

Right. He can just play with himself and thrill you and the rest of his minions.

No wonder boxing is in the shape it’s in.

If Tank wants a great legacy , he's got to fight those guys, ie; Lopez, Loma, Haney. If he's in it just for the money, then yes, command 80/20 splits and fight only on Showtime. There's so little " prime vs prime " title fights in boxing . And for me, that's the biggest problem with the sport. The lightweight division is stacked right now and nobody is fighting each other. I give kudos to Loma and Lopez for fighting in each other. Hopefully they'll have the rematch. But Tank and Haney got to get involved too. These 4 could have round robins that could stir up memories of The Four Kings . But I'm not holding my breath.

Ramirez is damaged goods. Why would tank even entertain a fight with Ramirez? Taylor already beat him handily. The only fight for Tank at 140 right now is Taylor.

If Lopez and Loma want a great legacy, they got to fight Tank. And they should not demand more than 80/20 showtime, because that is how much revenue they generate compared to Tank.

Tank is an exciting fighter that people pay to see. Lopez and Loma, should not try to cash in on the brand that Tank has built. They should build their own brand (Like Ryan) and ONLY then can they demand 50/50 with Tank.
