I don’t think that the difference in purses for certain weight classes is unfair because that has to do with market value. I’m simply saying that if none of the other top guys at 160-168 are expected to face Beterbiev at 175 then Andrade shouldn’t either.

Long story short, I’m onboard with Andrade possibility moving to 168 for additional opportunities but not necessarily 175.
At 168 there’s only really Canelo though. At least at 160 there’s potential fights with GGG, Charlo, Murata Derevyanchenko etc. They’ll probably never happen though.

I’ve given up on Andrade tbh, I was massively on the hype train back in 2012/13 but it’s been 8 years and we’re still waiting for him to fight somebody. Not saying that’s totally his fault but he has to take some responsibility for his own career.

Hopefully DAZN find a way to make GGG-Andrade happen this summer but I’m not holding my breath…

I just see GGG timing him. Although I wouldn’t rule out Andrade winning, he’s definitely a big underdog in that fight IMO.
That's cool. I just don't think Golovkin cares about his own career anymore.

He doesn’t, I’m a massive GGG fan but I don’t disagree with you whatsoever. He just wants the big money fights at this point.

I feel like being f***ed around by Canelo has made him resentful about giving B side guys the opportunity.

Reminds me of Froch not wanting to give Groves an opportunity because Calzaghe didn’t give him one when he was younger guy on the way up.

I agree with that, which means he should be willing to make concessions if he wants to make the fights you mentioned.

DAZN should definitely get a GGG-Andrade unification if that’s what they want since they are the ones writing the checks.
