Well many are saying if he wins his next fight he is, or could very well be the goat. So if you are one win away from it even without it you must be there or thereabouts

There are 7.9 Billion people on the planet, so tell me this many you speak of just how many are you on about, just so we can see the true perspective.

i dont rate floyd that highly, but these things are always subjective.

I do think however, that as the years go by, floyd's placement on the atg list is going to unfortunately have to be asterisked for the following:

-Benefited from several gift decisions (Castillo, ODH, Manny (outlanded nearly 2:1)).

-Abnormal T:E ratios indicative of PED abuse. If not for the fact that he was personally paying USADA, his blood samples would likely have undergone a re-test. how many of the ATG fighters needed to pay a drug testing agency to cover up ped use?

-illegal IV usage. Floyd's IV levels prior to the manny fight were 1000% above the legal threshold. There can be no denying that this is massive red flag. Despite this advantage, he still got outlanded by a one-armed, past prime pacquiao.

-repeated history of ducking best available fighters at the time (margarito, cotto, pacquiao come to mind). majority of his signature wins were against fighters several years removed from their primes. ironically, floyd would somewhat reverse this trend during the canelo fight, where he instead fought a teenage, weight drained canelo.

Well srr was the goat. But young boxing stars of today can't automatically assume SR R was as it was a different time and don't know enough about SRR- the ins and outs.
No young boxer today will think what Pac has did is achievable to them

if you have to ask if Mayweather is the greatest fighter of all time, then you don't belong on a boxing message board and while being incapable of discussing the sport. This is silly...

Oscar wasn't at the best in his career, but he was still a phenom atg and had a lot left. Does a 99' version of Oscar beat Floyd? Hard to say, but probably not.

On paper Floyd is the GOAT, but real aficionado's know Robinson is the real goat and would have blistered Floyd at 147. Ray turned pro at 135 and spent a lot of time at 147 so yea, it's a real fight.
floyd better than Armstrong???? are you high? lol

Armstrong lost 3 out of his first 4 fights with the first figjht he was ko'd face down on the canvas.
Floyd held titles in 5 divisions.
Armstrong held titles in 3 divisions.
                    Armstron 26 title fights.
                    Mayweather 28 title fights.

Have you ever seen Armstrong fight? Floyd would have knocked him out or shut him out. Especially the 2001 version of Floyd at 130 when he was PBF and knocking top guys out. Brutal beating for Armstrong.

                    Look for yourself!

Really so why is Armstrong consistently top 10 all time, and Floyd barely cracks top 30.
