the 147 division is dead. all the fights you mention sell peanuts, there are no million dollar fights at 147 except maybe Crawford vs spence and since both are unknown outside of the diehard fans that fight could flop too. 147 is totally dead. Crawford and spence want the $10m minumum payday but it's just not there. fraud weather ruined the 147 division by not passing the torch to the next generation. fraud weather's cowardice ruined boxing in america.

Crawford vs spence is akin to Bradley vs Devon Alexander. Good match up of unbeatens to unify but it sold poorly in Detroit and the fight was lousy. boxing in america is dead now because there are no american stars to sell. wilder charlo davis spence trevor bryan are all nothing. I'm very possitive Spence will beat Pacquiao, now if he doesn't fight Crawford after that, then I think 147 it's over for him, it will be heartbreaking because that's one my wishful thinking fight I want to see, Bud is about to be 34 in some months so I think the fight has to be now or never but I don't think it will happen.

About the weight jump, I think it's time to move up, the guy has fought his whole career at 147 and while I don't think Spence is a huge guy he is a big guy, i think 154 will suit him better, now the only thing that I don't like is that 154 while not a bad division is not a stacked division anymore, it's Williams, Fundora, Rosario, Lubin and Tzyu, now, don't get me wrong, I'm very high on Tszyu I love what this kid has and I think in the next years 154 supremacy is gonna be all about Spence and Tszyu but we'll see.

At the same time I'm almost sure that Haymon is gonna move both Charlos one division up at the same time, it's what makes most sense to me, Jermall will have a lot of guys to fight at 168, Jermell will be undisputed so he'll have nothing more to do at 154 and Spence will have 3 belts so it's time to move up.

Crawford hasn’t fought trash at welterweight.

Crawford can’t fight the people you want him too because they’re all with PBC and refuse to fight Crawford.

Crawford definitely deserves in the neighborhood of 50-percent. They can’t make Spence-Crawford without him.

The assumption when Crawford has been continuously fighting trash at 147 while Spence goes around collecting the belts and fighting top 10 fighters is that Spence is not the one avoiding tough fights.

The liklihood is that neither of them has been particularly pushing for it, but when Spence has Pacquaio lined up next -- a massive fight, a massive payday against yet another top 10 WW and could potentially ened up as a unification fight -- and Arum has a list of junior welterweights lined up as potential opponents, it's a bad look for Crawford.

Spence has established himself as the man in the welterweight division. Crawford was king of 140lbs, outgrew the division but just seems to not have the balls to take on anyone genuinely dangerous in the WW division. He took that strap from Horn and that seems to have been enough for him.

For the Spence vs Crawford fight to happen, one of them needs to swallow their pride and make some concessions to make it happen. The reality is that it probably should be Bud doing that. But somehow he's clinging to this fantasy that he deserves a 50% cut.

What do you consider "American Boxing?" Are Canelo and Pacquiao part of "American Boxing?" I mean, they don't fight in Mexico City or Manila.This will be Tyson Fury's 5th fight in Las Vegas! Lomachenko has only fought outside of America, once in 16 fights!

There are some very talented American Boxers on the scene (Teofimo Lopez, Tank Davis, Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia, Boots Ennis, Brandun Lee, Stephen Fulton, Gary Antuanne Russell, just to name a few) however the popularity of boxing has declined significantly in America. I bet only 1 in 100,000 Americans know one fighter on the Olympic Team. That wasn't the case in the 60s, 70s and even the 80s! I don't know how boxing is going to compete with the NFL and NBA? They can barely compete with MMA!
