Spence can have a good run at 154 I believe and possibly make waves at 160 with a couple losses

This guy walks around the same weight as Lara, perhaps same height too. Yet Lara finally at 160…Comment

I really wish he hadn't said that, NSB is going to hold him literally to it.I'll probably throw 1,300 punches per fight at 154.Comment

After that accident whatever keeps him in the gym, in shape, and out of trouble seems like the right thing for him to be doing. All the other drama and storylines will still be there, but for most fighters the gym is the place they and their careers are safest. There could be a dozen reasons he wants to move up and it seems like a reasonable move whatever his motives are. But first, even though I think he beats Pacquiao, I hope he isn't looking past his next opponent (i.e. talking about reaching out to Crawford, moving up after that, etc.). I hope the Crawford fight happens (even if I'm tired of the nonsense back and forth) and if he moves up I hope he tests himself at 154. Guy has talent and time moves quick, as a fan I'd like to see what he's really got.Comment

The Drunken Master doesn't really want to fight Bud. If he did, he would have taken his lame ass across the street long ago.Comment

This is nothing new! He's getting the big prize, so it's time to move on after that:
Spence: I Made The Porter Fight A Lot Harder Than It Was Supposed To Be
April 30, 2020
One of the most important improvements Errol Spence Jr. has committed to making since surviving his scary car accident is to avoid adding too much weight between bouts.
Spence estimates that he was 189 pounds when he began a nine-week training camp for his welterweight title unification fight against Shawn Porter seven months ago. Entering camp that heavy forced the 5-feet-10 Spence to lose 42 pounds prior to their weigh-in and, according to Spence, impacted his performance during a 12-round fight he won by split decision September 28 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Makes sense for Spence. Welterweight has been a legacy division for many years and now is no different with Pac-Man still in the air. Now that Spence has secured the PAC fight nothing else but to fight Crawford. As a fan I’m happy! Curious though if he does win the next two will he go for undisputed (if PAC is not elevated back to full champ And Ugas is still champ.)Comment
