Comments Thread For: Spence Discusses Future Move To 154: I'll Be Stronger, Sharper And Could Throw 1,300 Punches

Errol Spence Jr.'s future as a welterweight does not appear to be a long one. If Spence can't secure the long-desired super fight against Terence Crawford, he's packing his bags and moving up to 154.

185 to 147 is too much! I don't care what diet or nutritionist you have! If Spence beats Pacquiao, and Charlo beat Castano, they should both move up one division!

Looks like an alibi so that if he loses to Pacquiao. He'd say that's not my best. My Best is at 154.

If he does get past Pacquiao, he may as well move up to 154 or 160 lbs.

There's nothing stopping Spence and Crawford fighting at a higher weight, not really about belts anymore then, to face each other.

Spence won't fight his friends the Charlo's, so why not also aim for Golovkin and Munguia. I didn't mention Andrade because nobody seems interested in fighting him, for various reasons.

Yeah good move. Nothing more at welterweight for him to accomplish. He just can’t sit and wait for
              crawford forever.

Spence doesn't have much power at 147 so to go after naturally bigger guys would be absurd

U not the smartest fan I see, real fighters don’t except fights they can’t win or need an excuse for, ain’t nobody worried about him losing to no old sharp worn MF’er that’s little as hell!
