It's a good fight and a respectable one especially for someone coming off a loss. Not sure about the the guy you're talking to but I think it's fair to say Nakatani is overrated. Verdejo isn't a bad win but when Top Rank was suggesting Lomachenko fight him nobody came close to wanting that fight. And if Haney fights the Diaz-Fortuna winner that's a good fight, too.

I think I gave Nakatani like 4 rounds against Lopez, and at the time I despised Teo but was still trying to judge objectively.

They called undefeated Pedraza a bum until Loma faced him and went the distance

He was when he fought Gervonta. He was called a bum then until Loma went the distance with him.

You’re one of the good posting accounts on here btw

What are you getting at like Haney needs to also fight better competition? Linares was a step in the right direction but yes he does, I agree.
All of the top talent at the weight do.

I'm a fan of boxing first and foremost. They all need to stop calling each other Email champions and claiming each others too boring and making excuses and just fight already. Say what you like about Haney - He can be boring, his clinch vs Linares made me cringe a little also, he lacks power but he's the only one of the lot not making excuses not to fight the rest.
Maybe I am wrong there, tell the truth I am so sick of them all already I rarely keep upto date with the news.
All I care for is them fighting each other and yes I am a Haney fan but couldn't care if he lost to them all I just want to see them all fight each other and stop trying to one up each other by taking on each others leftovers who was never upto much to begin with.

Just because I am a fan of a fighter doesn't mean I can't or won't call them out on bs or critique them.

Haney absolutely needs to get them in the ring.
They all need each other. None of them are going to go down as great or become stars without each other.

                  Lopez has Kamboses
                  Loma has Nakatani
Haney just fought a game Linares
I don't know what is going on with Garcia but now is the time for them to fight each other. Dare to be great.
No more trying to one up each other by fighting damaged goods and each others left overs.

They're just all acting like divas, like spoiled b**** and only two of them imo (Loma and Lopez) anyway have really proven anything.

                    Stop hating man…

Nakatani was competitive with Teofimo. To suggest he only took punishment is crazy.

Secondly, Verdejo had won like 4-5 fights since the Lozada loss it’s not like he was a shot fighter or anything, and that was definitely a 50/50 fight going in. It was unquestionably a decent win.

I don’t know why so many of you guys wanna sh** on Nakatani, he’s a decent fighter.

Beating Pedraza, Linares, Luke Campbell in 2021 doesn't do anything for me.
I expect just about any real quality operator or true world class fighter to beat them rather comfortably.

I want to see 50/50 fights.

If Haney losses or Garcia or Lopez who cares they have plenty of time, they're young as they can come back.
Take risks, dare to separate yourselves, dare to be great.

If we don't get these fights asap before we know it 3 years have passed and we've just missed out a whole era of talent fighting each other.
Haneys probably up at 147, Tanks in jail, Ryan Garcia is now a underwear model and Lopez is riding a 3 fight losing streak.
Regardless of who you support or don't we just need to band together and demand these fights.
