boy, you guys sure were right. nice job!

for some reason, it seems like you guys are saying the same thing about an upcoming fight...
maybe you guys will be perfectly right once again?
Some of you know that I'm a big PAC fan. But, like alot of people. I thought my guy was gonna get demolished by DLH. It was one of the few times I was happy to be proven wrong.

The thing was though, it wasn't so much about DLH's size I was concerned about, but, the freakin' jab was at the top of my concerns. And I really thought that DLH was gonna strike from the outside, I mean duh, he was the taller and rangier fighter.

But, not only did he not even jab, he tried to come at PAC and got countered with those lefts all night until the lil guy ended up wearin' him out and PAC took over.

No matter the gameplan, De La Joto simply didn't have it, but, I think he could've looked game in some of those rounds had he made PAC look for him, instead of the other way around.

Now, to the 11/14 fight. I don't think we're gonna see the type of lopsided-ness that we saw on 12/6. It has the probability of having a clear winner, but competitive. One thing is for sure, it's definitely gonna be bloody mess.

I admit that I was one of those that called the fight a mismatch in DLH's favor but I'm not saying that same now against Cotto because we've seen that he can fight effectively at 140 and at 142 when he fought DLH even though DLH was weight drained.

Nothing to be ashamed of, most 'boxing experts' and even oddsmakers made the same mistake.

I chose Pacquiao by decision, because I knew he'd be too tough of a target for De la Hoya to hit, and I knew that the pace was going to be a little too much for Oscar to keep up with at his age.

Out of all of the genius posters on this site, there were not very many who took into account the fact that Oscar had to drop down to 147 for this fight, which is why the weight drained excuse is just that...an excuse.

Oscar's own trainer even said after the fight that the weight was not an issue. I'll take his word any day over some internet poster's opinion.

I thought DLH would take Pac out no later than maybe 8. I was incredibly happy to be wrong tho.

Same here. And I'm saying Pacquiao beats Cotto's ass as well.
