Remember De La Hoya vs Pacquiao?

where everyone on this site said the fight was a joke, because Pacquiao was way too small? remember when yall said you wouldnt spend a dime on it, because De La Hoya was going to destroy Pacquiao early in a mismatch because of the huge size disadvantage? that the fight was a sham, and Pacquiao had 0 chance of winning?

boy, you guys sure were right. nice job!

for some reason, it seems like you guys are saying the same thing about an upcoming fight...
maybe you guys will be perfectly right once again?

took you a long time to post this one. I, guess?

I did think DLH was gonna beat him though.

True alot of ppl were wrong including me but many circumstances had to be in place for the result of that fight to have occurred the way it did. I will admit that this fight coming up has some similar qualities but that doesn't mean the results will be the same as the DLH fight necessarily. Cotto is not DLH and some times what makes sense does actually happen, and what would "make sense" is a Cotto ko.

I thought it was an unfair fight to begin with.

After the beat down, suddenly ODLH is the victim and Manny the bad guy. Haters can never be pleased

That was a masterpiece performance by Pacquiao. I thought Pacquiao was going to run till Hoya land that left hook and take his head off. Pacquiao had other plan instead. Pacquiao was infornt of Hoya the whole time and Hoya just couldnt land ****. If Hoya was throwing punches he was getting counter. If he didn't he was even getting killed more. Pacquiao picked Hoya apart wonderfully.

true this. He didn't look weak in the 24/7 series but once he stepped in the ring, he looked terrible. take nothing away from manny that night though. It was a masterclass to watch.

weight drained or not, Oscar got the piss ass kicked out of him in that fight.

yall went in a complete 180 after the fight, from 'Oscar is going to easily dominate him and KO him early, fight is a joke and a ploy for money'
                    to
'De La Hoya was weight drained and had an off night'
give me a break. you dont go from that to that just because you have an off night. thats way too drastic. yall were wrong, plain and simple.

and if you guys havent noticed, Mayweather is coming off a 2 year layoff. dont tell me theres no uncommon circumstances leading up to this fight.

for the record, I think Mayweather will beat Marquez. but people are being idiots about this fight. you guys will refuse to pay for it, but you know damn right its the only thing youll be talking about for weeks after it happens. dont be ******.
even if Marquez DOES get dominated(which is the wrse case scenario), isnt that worth watching? cant you appreciate the skill level?
