Let’s be honest, aside from the rematch with Ggg, in the post Chavez, Oscar and Mayweather eras, canelo hasn’t done shet with the Mexican holiday dates. He either hasn’t fought, fought someone we didn’t care to see or his fight ******. For someone who insisted he needed to have those dates to bring excitement back to them, he’s been a disappointment.

Oscar lost most of his harder fights. It's like saying Chisora is Elite cos he lost to Fury, Vitali, etc. Canelo is levels above Oscar. I watched Oscar's whole career. I think you need to take your nostalgic glasses off. Ginger Boy is better than Golden Boy. Fernando Vargas was about as good as Liam Smith.

Agreed, In their primes DLH defeats Canelo and relatively easily. I will also add that Trinidad would have as well. In fact with his piston jab, Canelo vs Quartey would have been interesting. Whitaker also beats Canelo easily.

I would further this debate but your comment shows you know very little about boxing. And this is coming from someone who has never liked Oscar…at all. Not to mention, Comparing Vargas to Liam smith when Vargas was the youngest champion at 154 ever after beating campas, and has wins over guys like winky and quartey plus gave a prime Trinidad his toughest fight to that point is absurd. If canelo faced oscars comp, he’d have several losses assuming the judges didn’t protect him as they’ve been known to do.

there is nothing in Tito or Vargas' arsenal that would come close to hurting Canelo. If GGG never stunned Canelo, neither of them would come close to it. And they sure as hell wouldn't outbox Canelo.
