IMO it should stay the same, 2 min rounds. Not that I've done stacks of research on the issue... but this is the first gripe I've read about on the subject. We have to take the source into account. Force the feminist types to work harder. They run their mouth about pay but rarely about equal work. 12 round championship fights at 3 minutes a round is a good start. Then after they work just as hard they can find out that boxing pays on drawing power so they still won't be making superstar man $.

You should do some research before commenting. Women don't get paid as much as men in the majority of fights. And none make the paydays of the high profile men fighters.

It's because nobody watches it. Boxing's popularity has been on the decline for the past twenty years or so. It's now a niche sport.

I just so happen to agree with the old fart. If women wants equal pay then they should do equal work. Which means fighting 3 minute rounds.
