BLAH BLAH BLAH.... Jacobs, Lara have been calling both of them Lions out for years!!! Jacobs made one of them Chit their pants at an interview! LOL them Lions are tamed by they daddy Haymon! keep fighting BUMS and Barking Big! cause that's all they is....
For nothing? It would be by far his biggest payday, and if he won it would practically force the Canelo fight at some point lol. Wtf man
How would thatvbe his biggest payday? Benavidez is not a big star. Only known by hard core fans. A unification fight with either murata or GGG would FAR surpass a fight vs Benavidez for nothing. Also, who knows what Canelo will do once he becomes undisputed. Might move up amd hunt down them boys at 175
Nah. It helps Andrades stock a lot, he might not become a star but it makes a Golovkin fight much more likely. Hearn and Haymon have the same gameplan and throw away money in the same vain. This fight promotes the platform by being on DAZN and if Andrades wins it’s a huge plus for the reasons I already mentioned and more belts under DAZN, which is a step closer to abolishing the sanctioning bodies.
Sure it might seem like a high number. But It’s probably a necessary sacrifice/attempt to get a PBC fighter to budge otherwise how do they get that belt? Also Putting Andrade in a Charlo fight might be cheaper in the long run, win or lose.
Made some good points, but the initial argument persists, who actually believes Hearn offered him a $7mil contract to fight Andrade with no strings attached? I highly doubt he did.

I'm pretty sure Hearn has also stated that he would let Andrade go over to PBC if they made him a good offer. Ultimately, I'm not convinced this match-up will ever happen. Jermall is just keeping the belt warm for Jermell once he moves up, so that the WBC title stays in-house.

I think Benavidez-Charlo would be a legitimate PPV fight. I don't see either guy making less than $5 million for that fight, so it would be Charlo's biggest fight to date by far. A fight with GGG or Murata would pay similarly, but they have other options and aren't looking at Charlo.

I 100000% agree, but I'm a hard core fan. How many PPV buys you think Charlo-Benavidez would generate if they fought right now with absolutely no titles on the line? How would you sell that to the casuals?
I disagree on muraya and GGG having other options. what other big names are left at 160? They have to fight charlo if they want to unify. Andrade has the WBO, but we both know Charlo surpasses.
Jacobs and Charlo both PBC…but fight just cant b made - go figure! Keep on fighting mismatches and enjoy the obscurity, even in ur own hometown. Despite ur bs “event” with Mayor - who am sure got a nice Pbc “contribution” to one of his charities. So much for the Charlos beings ppv stars and only fighting on ppv…that initial double main event ppv must have really tanked!
big fights have always been made when the parties are willing and the money is there. promoters have not always been exclusively in house. they've tried over the years and they either fail or they eventually let their big fighters take pay per view fights outside of their stables.
canelo and charlo can fight. it's just a matter of charlo not bringing enough to the table for canelo's people to accept the risk of their cash cow taking an L to a fighter who isn't in house.
make no mistake, canelo probably knocks jermall charlo and his brother out on the same night, but he is a good fighter in his prime and he can punch and canelo is moved financially and unless you bring extra money to the table they will not be taking extra risk with a dude outside of the stable. that's just life.
