No announcement yet.
Aside from Pacquiao, is there any other active boxers at present already labeled as a LEGEND?

Finding a couple of debates post 1885 (none of which came after the early 1900s) about whether someone should be a one time or two time lineal champion strengthens my point.
It’s clear what Fury’s achieving if your have to bring up things that happened 130 years ago to discredit him.
He lost his lineal status according to Ring Magazine and TBRB when he retired. He’s lineal again after beating Wilder.
He’s one of six men to do that, since 1885. Possibly one of seven or eight if I give you everything your asking for and ignore the record books.
He’s clearly a legend.

F%CK NO! Look at the names some of you throwing around I mean seriously have we lowered the bar for "LEGEND" that low that we're just thinking of good current fighters and already labeling them "LEGENDS"
Embarrassing but not Surprising on this Forum!
Pacman is the only True Legend currently active in boxing. Yeah some of those other guys yall listed are good...very good and future Hall Of Famers but "LEGENDS"? Absolutely NOT!
Stop lowering the Bar of "LEGEND"...Chocolatito had a Good Career and is a future Hall Of Famer but "LEGEND" F%CK NO! In Nicaragua yeah sure I guess they would see him as a Legend.
Donaire I have the utmost respect for, is indeed a Filipino Legend, not sure I would proclaim him as a Boxing Legend on the same Level As a Pacquiao? No Way!Last edited by sicko; 06-15-2021, 06:38 PM.

So he won the fight and won the lineal championship.
He retired and wasn’t the lineal champion anymore.
He won it again when he beat Deontay Wilder.
He’s one of six men to win the lineal championship twice.
Floyd Patterson, Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield, George Foreman, Lennox Lewis and Tyson Fury.
He’s already a legend.
Which supports what Marchegiano is saying. There's no official list so many claims are up for debate.Last edited by Robbie Barrett; 06-16-2021, 01:37 AM.
