Linares is shopworn but he's still a skilled fighter with decent pop, he's just less durable than he was before. Haney didn't have the power to take advantage of that.

I'm not a fan of Haney but style matchups do matter as do actual skills. Barrios is a tough, limited fighter. Haney still has to answer his doubters but he is a skilled boxer. I like Tank but he and his team have disappointed me with most of their matchmaking since the Pedraza fight.
I respect your opinion. However, Haney couldn't stop Gamboa and Linares! Linares almost closed the deal, Tank would've destroyed him!

I honestly believe the best weight for him will be 135 without killing himself to cut weight, after walking around as a middleweight.
would make believes out of all if he would stop the cherry-pickn and face any top fighter at ANY weight!!!!

He's 5'10, and 17 KOs in 26 fights! Haney couldn't stop 38 year old Gamboa! I don't know why Barrios is getting so much hate? Even in his poor performance, he dropped Akhmedov twice! He's a much more formidable foe @ 140, than Haney @ 135! I would not have said this before the Linares fight! Haney needs KingRy! Haney needs to stay far way from 140! Very far!
Barrios average b-level fighter who does nothing special - average speed/power…hasnt ko’d anyone of note - hence the 4-1 odds. Even Paulie M. had ko”s on his record and was feather-fisted!!!!! Davis gonna have to risk that 0 soon to b considered p4p…not even on the list!

Barrios has more power than Haney, Linares, and Ryan Garcia!

Dwight Muhammad Qawi was 5'5", he fought from 175 to HW.
You're comparing Tank to those guys?

You're talking about Hall of Famer and in the case of Pacquaio, Duran, and Armstrong, probably top 10 all-time great fighters.

            Tank is not that.

Tank is short, undisciplined, and protected.

He should be trying to fight everyone from Stevenson to Haney, Lopez, Lomachenko, and Garcia.

He's food for Taylor, Ramirez, Prograis, and probably Mo Hooker too.

I don't think Gervonta should be at 140 in my opinion.

It's a big risk for him with his size.

But that's what we want in boxing isn't it? I see a lot of haters on here spouting sh.it but reality is, this is a small guy taking on a man with the height of Errol Spence Jr. (Mario Barrios)

Meaning Barrios could easily be living at 147 and potentially 154 if he wanted to. That's a big, big junior welter right that.

And Gervonta being 5'5"? That's a mountain to climb, specially with a guy who is on the rise and throwing leather with mean intentions.

If Gervonta got by Barrios and especially in emphatic fashion? He'll have no problems with Josh Taylor. He really won't. As long as they don't fight in the UK.

barrios took a bad beating by akhmedov and never gave the man a rematch, he is cashing out vs davis, that's the only reason this fight is happening. i just hope davis doesn't stay around at 140 calling himself a champion after this fight when we all know who the champion of the division really is, taylor. whom would beat the crap outta gervonta.

                      What's Tanks real height anyways? He's listed at 5'5 1/2" so I'm guessing he's probably really 5'3"?
