Top rank is really taking the quality over quantity to the max lately. They are trimming the fat and concentrating on the fines cuts. ESPN has definitely cut their budget

Bob no longer gives AF. Letting Elvis Rodriguez go is shocking. Bud is definitely leaving in October.

Maybe he didn't want to go back down to 168 (or can't) which would mean staying at Top Rank means he gets fed to Beterbiev lmfao

Hart is mediocre but he would beat Plant and Saunders.

It's like Eddie said about picking DAZN over Sky in the UK, fighter purses are going up so they need additional revenue. Top Rank is locked into a long term deal with ESPN and is probably getting very little from Sky so they're cutting costs instead. Lets them cover Teo's new deal and probably a big payday for Loma too.

I suppose Hart peaked in that first fight with Zurdo. He seemed to get old overnight. That fight against a washed up Barrera in which he eked out a decision was a wrap on his career. If titles could be won for self-aggrandizement, Hart would be undisputed. He should probably hang them up, I imagine he’s suffered a lot a brain trauma being in the gym his whole life trying to live up to his dad’s ****er shadow.

It's a cold blooded business. I remember the ESPN/Top Rank hype on Elvis was big before his recent struggle with Veron and loss to Sims.

Why shocking? Didn't "The King" get upset by a wide underdog not long ago?
