All promoters I have seen in boxing are dirty crooks at least the successful ones that last. There like drug dealers to a neighborhood, destructive in every way. King, Arum, Kallen, Mayweather, Golden Girl, Sauerland, University, Top Rank, Salita, Zanfer, Gary Shaw, Frank Warren, Lou DiBella all have one thing in common and that they all can be some rotten dirty bastards and seem to enjoy nothing but green $$$! Love or hate Eddie, to think Matchroom isn't killing it at the moment is hilarious.

Hearn knows that giving fans value, low cost, brings more subs, and therefore the profits always stay a float. That’s the correct way to do things, risky, but worth it. Whereas with PPV it’s old school and the times have changed. PPV works well when there are geneuine stars to push that protocol as well props undercard matchmaking to make future PPV. These models are old. You can still do it, but the PPV premium is just too expensive to today’s standards. Boxing has to conform to app world metrics and pricing. If 70k people buy a specific photo app tool or whatever for $7, them room for proper selling theory. DAZN doing things right
