Joe is almost on point in this article but hell Floyd not the greatest fighter to ever live in fact he wouldn’t be a good sparring partner for the great Sugar Ray Robinson and I seriously doubt he would be able to handle Leonard, Hearns or Duran maybe even a solid Mike McCallum at 154. All these guys at there best would have given him hell. Floyd is the greatest box office and wealthiest and used the best marketing of all fighters. I do agree that this was an amazing task and why because myself know that at 53 I can still go into gyms and school younger bigger guys, but the difference is Floyd can actually pull it off in a fight with the small gloves on, that’s incredible!

People really think Duran is better than Floyd lol he fought Hearn Hagler and SRL went 1-4 and was knocked out twice. Great fighter but over rated in my opinion

too claim that Floyd is the greatest boxer ever is laughable.

All due respect, I don't think that was amazing. It was an exhibition, nothing more, nothing less, amazing imho would've been came back at 44 and beat a top rated guy in my division, just like Hopkins used to do or like Pacquiao is trying to do.

Floyd looked bothered at the fact he could not stop the kid, he got his milllions, good for him, but to me it was more like embarrasment on hi part for not doing what he thought he was gonna do, his demeanor looked like a man who did not acomplished what he had envisioned.

Nevertheless before anyone in here comes to call me a hater, let it be known that he is my favorite fighter all time, the guy was unbeliavable good till he retired, He robbed the bank, good for him.

Just out of curiosity, were you alive during the 4 Kings era? Have you ever even watched a Duran fight? How versed are you in Duran's career arc, or are you just going of the W/L columns?

A lot of low effort "articles" on this site. We are even getting flooded with MMA articles. what is the point of these

prime floyd was 130-135. We know floyd is elite because when finding guys to give him problems you go to his last weight class at 154 in his 30s and say oh he could have problems with mike mccallum. I wonder if you hold all other ATGs to the same standard. Do you rate Leonard at 175 and list all the light heavies you think beat him? Do you pit Hearns against Usyk since hearns fought at 190?

                      Logan took Floyd's punches well.
