too claim that Floyd is the greatest boxer ever is laughable.

duran was better fighter and had a better resume for starters.
Depends on a person's perspective, you realize at the very core of the entire "better best greatest greater" premise is a guy's opinion, nothing is proven wrong, nothing is proven right , all depending on the perspective, Rogan is as much right saying he is as you are saying he isnt.

Trolls on this website make it seem like Floyd embarrassed boxing, but whenever I hear from a casual or see people on social media, they sound more like Rogan here. They mostly just clown Logan Paul for holding or for getting beat up. Most people I've seen think Floyd held back or that he was carrying Logan. They even think Floyd actually knocked him out and held him up to keep him from going down.

Duran beat a legend in Ray Leonard also, yes he did; whipped his ass! Whenever you ready to attend class let me know, I’ve been at this about 40 years now and I’m only 53.

Majority of the legends start their career as smaller fighters. Anytime Duran resume is mentioned Iran Barkley is always the focal point lol. If you want to play that game, did Hearns not beat Wilfred Benitez a guy Duran couldn’t beat????? Or do those type of theories only apply for Duran? Robbie Sims beat Duran and knocked Iran Barkley out, is he better than Duran and Hearns? That’s how silly your Iran Barkley theory sounds. He did beat a young SRL then he did the most dishonorable cowardly thing a fighter could do. He quit!! He cheated the fans and his legacy once he quit. In the third fight his performance was atrocious and he got whooped all over the ring. I believe Mayweather-Pacquiao was a better fight. Biased fans judge legacy based off these two quotes, “he fought everyone he never ducked anyone” or “he was an exciting fighter”. All that is cool but only thing that matters in this sport is Wins and Losses. All that other crap is 2nd place morale victory bs.

I wasn’t saying anything negative about Floyd in fact I’m a Michigan product myself but when people make the remark as the best ever bull, I have been around the tournaments when he was an amateur etc. I can use smaller fighters to compare him to as well and don’t think he was as good or would have won, but that’s why we are entitled to our opinion. Pernell was slicker, Aaron Pryor at 140 was a mistake for anyone so I don’t have to use guys at 154 to compare him too! I know how great he is to be able to even fight at 147 with his size that was straight talent but don’t come for me I have been around the game forever and I’m still in great shape at 53.

Ya styles make fights.. Being the best in my opinion shouldn't just be about having losses or not.
The sport evolves like any other.
And Floyd would've learned from all those guys too.
The guy I've seen having a mix of everything is Sugar Ray Robinson.
When you remove all the modern tactics and clever matchmaking of the modern Era, I don't think the fighters these days could hold a light to fighters from back in the 60s 70s fighting regularly against the best. That was real toughness.
Floyd protected himself very carefully in many ways. When I think of his legacy, that is a huge part of it.

Floyd looked bothered at the fact he could not stop the kid, he got his milllions, good for him, but to me it was more like embarrasment on hi part for not doing what he thought he was gonna do, his demeanor looked like a man who did not acomplished what he had envisioned.

Nevertheless before anyone in here comes to call me a hater, let it be known that he is my favorite fighter all time, the guy was unbeliavable good till he retired, He robbed the bank, good for him.
He is also my favorite fighter and I hundred percent agree with you.

Floyd lFlked like he wanted to cry because he couldn't stop the kid.

Which is stupid and so are my fellow Floyd fans (and haters) who actually thought a guy who hasn't stopped an opponent since 2007 and is 44 years old, and weighed only 155lbs was gonna stop a guy who is 195lbs of muscle.

I kept hearing people repeating this "Floyd by KO easy" nonsense and I kept trying to tell everyone that they are misleading themselves but no one would listen.

Having said that, there was a point where Floyd looked like he had him and that Logan was ready to go.

But Logan turned it into the worst clinch fest I ever seen and Mayweather abandoned the consistent body attack that got him there in the first place and was therefore no long effective himself.

Its weird how the best fighters sometimes do amateurish ish like that.

I remember Pacquiao did the same when he fought Horn.

He had Horn ready to go in the ninth round and instead of mixing up his punches he started head hunting and as a result allowed Horn to survive.

All Horn had to do was lean back his head and upper body and circle the ring.

One would think Manny, with his experience and boxing IQ, would have had the sense to attack the body so that Horn can gas more and also so that Horn can bring his head down but he just carried on head hunting and missing the whole round.

Mayweather and Pac, by far the best of their generation, did something that stupid that cost them the KO.

A quiter like Duran can never be the greatest of all time.

Rogan says it's amazing. His reason? Old good fighter can't beat much bigger, pseudo-professional fighter with zero skills. I don't see which side of the equation is supposed to amaze.

It's a circus sideshow. It's Ben Johnson racing a horse and a stock car. It's a lion fighting a bear for bored miners in the Gold Rush.

Except with no winner declared. Pointless not amazing.
